A Study Of The Relationship Between Parental Neglect,Trait Anger,Hostile Attribution Bias,and Relationship Attack In High School Students

Violence in schools is an issue that society,families and schools have always attached and focused on.Relationship attack is a highly covert,undetectable form of attack,which is a kind of cold violence that will have an impact on the physical and mental development of high school students.Parental neglect as one of the family factors will affect the growth of children,and the formation and development of individual personality,cognition,and character.Trait anger and hostility attribution belong to the personality and cognitive level,so parental neglect will affect the trait anger level and hostile attribution bias level of high school students,which in turn affects the relationship attack.In this study,750 students from three high schools in Heilongjiang Province and Shandong Province were selected as participants.The Relationship Aggression Behavior Scale（Revised Edition）,the Parent Neglect Scale,the Trait Anger Scale Questionnaire and the Hostility Attribution Bias Questionnaire were distributed on a class-by-class basis,and 664 valid questionnaires were recovered,with an effective recovery rate of88.53%.The following conclusions are drawn:1.High school survival in the phenomenon of relationship attack,the overall level is low,there are differences in grade and monthly family income.The relationship attack in the first year of high school is significantly lower than that of high school students in the second and third grades of high school,and the high school students with a monthly family income of less than 3,000 yuan show more relationship attacks,which is significantly higher than that of high school students with a monthly family income of more than 3,000 yuan.2.The level of parental neglect of high school students is in the lower middle,and there are differences in gender,only child or not,grade and monthly family income,indicating that the degree of parental neglect of children is affected by many factors.3.The characteristic anger of high school students is at a medium level,and there are differences in gender,only child or not,grade level and monthly family income.4.The hostility attribution bias of high school students is at a medium level,and there are significant differences in only birth or not,and grade,and high trait anger has a certain predictive effect on the hostile attribution bias.5.There is a correlation between parental neglect,trait anger,and hostile attribution bias of high school students and relationship attack.And there is a positive correlation between the two.6.Trait anger and hostile attribution bias play a mediating role in parental neglect and relationship attacks in high school students,and trait anger and hostile attribution bias play a chain mediation role.
