Research On The Integration Of Ethnic Elements Into Cheerleading Creation And Compilation

Among the many emerging sports,cheerleading is favored by people in many countries because of its unique technical style and enthusiastic performance characteristics.Cheerleading originated in the United States.In order to expand the influence of cheerleading,the new rules advocate that each team integrate local culture into the creation of sets.Our country is a country of 56 ethnic groups,and the integration of colorful ethnic elements and La La exercises has provided conditions for the development of La la exercises,spreading our excellent traditional culture at the same time,firmly strengthening our cultural confidence.This paper analyzes the background of the topic selection,the purpose and significance of the research,the concept and classification of ethnic elements,and selects the champion teams of the application of ethnic elements in the China(Nanjing)Cheerleading Open Championship in 2021 and 2022 as the objects of investigation and analysis.Using the method of literature,expert interview,video analysis,logical analysis and mathematical statistics to analyze and research,according to the competition rules of cheerleading,the creation of "four principles"and "five elements" respectively from the five aspects of music,movement,clothing,theme and props,the application of ethnic elements in cheerleading is analyzed.This paper discusses the "six advantages" and disadvantages of integrating ethnic elements into cheerleading creation and compilation,provides experience for integrating ethnic elements into cheerleading creation and compilation,and draws the following conclusions:(1)When the elements of folk music are integrated into the creation and compilation of cheerleading,the folk music should connect the theme and set off the theme atmosphere.In the 2021 and 2022 entries,most of the music selected is folk songs with cheerful rhythm and ethnic characteristics as the main melody,the background Musical Instruments are mostly percussion,strumming and blowing music as the main melody,and the minor key singing as the transition of music.The overall music composition has a clear rhythm,cheerful atmosphere and strong ethnic atmosphere.(2)When the elements of ethnic movements are integrated into the creation and compilation of cheerleading exercises,ethnic movements can truly express emotions and make the theme distinct.In the creation and editing of the champion team,martial arts,ethnic dance and traditional opera are the main movements.The creation and editing of the movements are in line with the rules of cheerleading competition,with a high degree of fluency,unity and sense of strength,and fit the theme.In 2021,the champion team chose martial arts as the first choice in the integration of ethnic movements,while the integration of ethnic dance and opera movements was relatively low.In 2022,the number of ethnic dance and opera movements created by the champion team increased significantly compared with that in 2021.(3)When the elements of ethnic costume are integrated into the creation and compilation of cheerleading exercises,the ethnic costume can highlight the character characteristics and story plot.In the champion team’s entries,the original characteristics of cheerleading uniforms are retained,and ethnic colors,patterns,style design is integrated,the overall clean and tidy,full of vitality and spirituality.(4)When the ethnic theme elements are integrated into the creation and compilation of cheerleading,the cheerleading performance can be more vivid.In 2021,Wukong and Descendants of the Dragon are all themed with literary and ideological mythic stories.In 2022,The Scholar and the Wish are themed with historical stories and traditional culture.Various theme designs give Ala exercises unique style characteristics.(5)When the elements of ethnic props are integrated into the creation and editing of cheerleading,the ethnic props can add luster to the cheerleading performance and make cheerleading have more style changes.In this paper,it is found that the champion team uses less props and has more space for creation.
