Cultivating morality and cultivating talents is the central link of ideological and political work in universities,which is related to the fundamental issue of what kind of talents universities cultivate,how to cultivate talents,and for whom to cultivate talents.In the context of various courses and ideological and political theory courses moving in the same direction and actively carrying out ideological and political courses,physical education courses have unique advantages in enhancing students’ ideological and political education,allowing them to receive the most intuitive ideological and political education in physical education courses.However,there is relatively little research on ideological and political courses focused on a certain sports project currently.Basketball,as an important item in college physical education courses,has the characteristics of high flexibility,strong participation,and intense confrontation,making it deeply loved by college students.Basketball belongs to the form of group sports and plays its unique ideological and political function in teaching.The basketball course can effectively cultivate students’ patriotism,diligent and dedicated spirit,honesty and trustworthiness,rule awareness,will quality,innovation spirit and collectivism spirit.Each teaching stage of basketball contains rich ideological and political factors,and in-depth exploration of these factors plays an important role in improving students’ ideological and moral qualities.This study takes the current national vigorously advocating the integration of ideological and political concepts into routine teaching as an opportunity to collect and organize the ideological and political models used in college physical education courses.Combined with the characteristics of college physical education basketball course teaching,the study focuses on the effectiveness of integrating ideological and political into college basketball general course teaching,using literature review method,expert interview method,questionnaire survey method,teaching experiment method,classroom observation method and mathematical statistics method.Two classes of 2022 physical education from the School of Physical Education and Health of Guangxi Normal University were selected as experimental subjects.In the basketball general course,basketball teaching content that can be applied to both traditional teaching and ideological and political education in the course was selected.The experimental class adopted ideological and political education in the course,while the control class adopted traditional physical education teaching concepts and methods.Before the experiment,the experimental subjects were tested,and teaching experimental research was conducted in the absence of significant differences in various test indicators between the experimental classes and control classes.After a semester of teaching experiments,a comparative analysis was conducted on the basketball technical ability scores and ideological and moral qualities of students in the experimental classes and control classes before and after the experiment.The research results showed that:1.After 12 weeks and 68 class hours of ideological and political education experiments in the basketball general course,the test scores of the basic basketball technical abilities(round-trip dribbling and forty second two zone moving shooting)of the experimental and control classes were significantly improved(P<0.01).However,the average increase in the control class was not as significant as that of the experimental class,indicating that incorporating ideological and political education into the basketball general course can effectively improve teaching effectiveness,It has a significant positive effect on the improvement of basketball technical ability.2.After 12 weeks and 68 class hours of ideological and political education experiments in the basketball general course,the test results of the control class’ s basketball technical evaluation items(passing,getting rid of receiving,crossing step holding breakthrough,and one hand low hand shooting during the movement)were lower than those of the experimental class(P<0.05),indicating that in terms of the test results of basketball technical evaluation items,the integration of ideological and political education in the basketball general course had a better teaching effect.3.After 12 weeks of 68 class hours of ideological and political teaching experiment of basketball general course,the ideological and moral quality indicators of the experimental class(patriotism,diligent and dedicated spirit,honesty and trustworthiness,rule awareness,will quality,innovation spirit,collectivism)were significantly improved(P<0.01),The ideological and moral quality indicators of the control class(patriotism,diligent and dedicated spirit,honesty and trustworthiness,rule awareness,will quality,innovative spirit,collectivism)have also been improved to a certain extent(P<0.05),which shows that the application of ideological and political education into the curriculum to basketball general courses is more effective than the application of traditional teaching to basketball general courses in enhancing students’ patriotism,promote students to form an excellent character of honesty and trustworthiness,cultivate their hard-working and professional spirit,establish their sense of rules,temper their strong will and quality,exercise their innovative spirit and practical ability,and strengthen their collectivism spirit of unity and cooperation,so as to achieve an educational pattern of all staff,the whole process,and all aspects.This has a certain promoting effect on the comprehensive development of the physical and mental health of contemporary college students and the cultivation of a sound personality. |
