The Influence Of Functional Sports Games On Children’s Motor Skills

Abstract/Summary:
Objective: In 2012,the Ministry of Education issued the Guide to Learning and Development for Children aged 3-6(hereinafter referred to as the Guide),which defines three goals of children’s motor development,namely,balance ability,motor coordination and agility;Strength and endurance;Hand movement is flexible coordination,these three goals coincide with the development of children’s motor skills.In 2018,the National Youth Sports Work Conference was held to emphasize the implementation of sports projects for children.In 2020,the Department of Physical Education,Health and Art Education of the Ministry of Education mentioned in the national campus football work video conference that "lack of basic motor skills is the most prominent problem facing Chinese children now".Early childhood is the golden period for the development of motor skills,but the lack of basic motor skills is the most prominent problem faced by Chinese children.During this period,a variety of basic motor skills will be formed,which is of great significance for the formation of special motor skills and participation in a variety of physical activities in the future.At present,the improvement effect of traditional sports games on children’s motor skills and the pertinence of curriculum objectives are not perfect enough to promote the improvement of children’s motor skills.Through functional training and integration of traditional sports game elements,this study designed functional sports games suitable for children’s stage,and conducted experimental research and comparison with traditional sports games,aiming to explore the influence of children’s functional sports games on motor skills.Methods: In this study,a total of 135 children in Kangqiao Education Yalong Kindergarten in Shijiazhuang City of Hebei Province were studied by literature,logical analysis,interview,experiment and mathematical statistics,including 71 in the experimental group and 64 in the control group.The experimental group adopted children’s functional physical education course,while the control group implemented the physical education course according to the kindergarten’s original plan.Before and after the experiment,before and after the experiment,the motor skills performance of the two groups were evaluated.Results: Before the experiment,the experimental group was compared with the control group,there was no statistical difference in children’s motor skills.Statistical comparison before and after the experiment showed that both male and female children’s motor skills were significantly improved(P < 0.01).The statistical comparison before and after the experiment of the control group showed that the mobility skills of the motor skills test items of male infants were significantly improved(P < 0.05),the manipulative skills were significantly improved(P < 0.05)in dribbling in place,catching the ball with both hands and throwing over the shoulder,and the stability skills were significantly improved(P < 0.05).In the motor skill test items of female infants,the three items of mobility skill running,jumping on one foot and sliding step were significantly improved(P < 0.05),and the three items of manipulation skill were significantly improved(P < 0.05).The two items of stability skill were significantly improved(P < 0.05),and the two items of stability skill were significantly improved(P < 0.05).After the experiment,the experimental group was compared with the control group,and the motor skill performance of the experimental group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P < 0.05).Conclusion: Physical play intervention can effectively promote the development of children’s motor skills,traditional sports game courses lack the content design of children’s fine motor,limb strength exercises and core stability training,compared with children’s functional sports games on motor skills intervention effect is better,so based children’s functional sports games are more effective in promoting children’s motor skills performance.
