| Core literacy has become a hot topic in the global education community,and countries are actively researching a complete core literacy system to promote test reform and implement quality education.In 2014,China’s Ministry of Education put forward the important task of comprehensively deepening curriculum reform and cultivating morality,including formulating core literacy systems and academic quality standards,and applying them to all levels and disciplines.In 2022,the Ministry of Education issued the Biology Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education,which clearly requires focusing on the development of Chinese students’ core competencies and cultivating students with the correct values,necessary character and key competencies to adapt to future development.The middle school entrance examination is not only the most important examination in the compulsory education stage,but also a selective examination for students to enter high school,and since 2019,Shaanxi Province has begun to implement a unified command system for biology exam questions.It can be seen that the research of middle school examination questions has important practical significance,which is conducive to improving the content and presentation method of test questions,making Shaanxi’s test question proposition content more in line with the requirements of the times,so as to promote the reform of teaching and research and teachers’ teaching methods,and better achieve the goal of cultivating students’ core literacy.Therefore,this paper mainly focuses on the biology test questions of the Shaanxi Provincial Middle School Entrance Examination from 2019 to 2022.On the basis of literature research,this paper adopts such research methods as statistical analysis,comparative analysis and case analysis,and takes constructivism theory and quality-oriented education theory as the theoretical basis to study the content of biology questions in the 2019-2022 Shaanxi high School Entrance Examination and the core literacy of biology questions.Test content this aspect mainly analyzes the test paper type,score,question type and number of questions,and presents it in the form of charts;The first level subject,knowledge content points,question number,score and other data are analyzed statistically,and the test points and rules are summarized.From the aspect of reflecting the core literacy of biology,starting with the classification standard of literacy grade,this paper firstly makes a statistical analysis of the question number,literacy level,score and proportion of the core literacy of biology examined in the biology exam of Shaanxi High School Entrance Examination from 2019 to 2022,and then makes an example analysis of the classic questions reflecting the core literacy of biology.Based on the author’s four years’ teaching experience,some teaching suggestions are put forward for the future biology teaching to conform to the trend of The Times,cultivate students’ core quality of biology and promote its comprehensive development.The research conclusions are as follows:(1)The examination questions pay more and more attention to the examination of students’ core biological literacy,these four sets of questions have involved the examination of biological core elements of life concept,scientific thinking,practical inquiry,attitude and responsibility,the structure of the test questions tends to be stable,and the examination of the content of the test questions is more and more inclined to students’ comprehension memory of knowledge,rather than simple mechanical memory.The test questions are close to the teaching materials,connected with life,have a large amount of information,strong comprehensiveness,and diversified presentation methods,such as chart questions,material questions,etc.(2)The examination of the test questions is highly consistent with the biological core literacy proposed in the new curriculum standard,and the proportion of the four connotations of the biological core literacy is stable and changing.The four sets of questions examined the biological core literacy of life concept,scientific thinking,practical inquiry,attitude responsibility accounted for the score increased year by year,from the year point of view,the proportion of examination increased year by year is life concept and scientific thinking,the proportion of test questions to test attitude responsibility increased less,and the proportion of practical inquiry was relatively stable.The examination form of these four sets of questions on the concept of life and social responsibility is mainly based on choice,while the examination form of scientific thinking and practical inquiry is mostly non-multiple-choice questions.(3)The four levels of the core literacy of biology are more reasonable,and the four sets of questions reflect the four levels of life concept are involved,of which the highest proportion of examination for level 1,level 2,level 3 examination ratio is the lowest,only one set of test questions is examined,and two sets of test questions are examined at level 4.The examination of scientific thinking is mainly based on level 2,level 3 is more,and the four sets of questions do not involve level 4.The examination of practical inquiry is mainly level 2,and each set of questions examines three literacy levels;The examination of social responsibility is mainly level 3.(4)In view of the current situation of the middle school entrance examination,the author believes that middle school biology teachers should create real situations,carry out teaching activities around biological concepts,stimulate students’ thinking,and cultivate their concept of life;In biology teaching,attach importance to knowledge summary,use charts to summarize knowledge points,guide students to make mind maps,and cultivate students’ scientific thinking;Build an open experimental classroom,encourage students to actively operate in the experimental class,and cultivate students’ practical ability and spirit of inquiry;Be good at connecting with social hotspots,and cultivate students’ correct attitude and sense of responsibility,including environmental awareness,life respect awareness,social responsibility and other aspects. |
