| With the comprehensive development of socialist education with Chinese characteristics in the new era,the internal governance of primary and secondary schools should also be adjusted accordingly.As important stakeholders of the school,teachers and students are the main body of the internal governance of primary and secondary schools,and are important participants in the internal governance of the school.The participation of teachers and students in the internal governance of primary and secondary schools is of great significance to the comprehensive improvement of basic education governance,the enhancement of teachers and students’ awareness and ability to participate,and the success of basic education that is satisfactory to the entire population.This study is based on governance theory and stakeholder theory,using comprehensive methods such as questionnaire survey,interview,and literature analysis to investigate the participation of teachers and students in the internal governance of some primary and secondary schools in Z City.Based on the results of the questionnaire and interview,it analyzes the existing problems of teachers and students’ participation in the internal governance of primary and secondary schools,and understands the current situation of teachers and students’ participation in the internal governance of primary and secondary schools Analyze the problems existing in the participation of teachers and students in the internal governance of primary and secondary schools,and explore the optimal path for teachers and students to participate in the internal governance of primary and secondary schools.The study found that the purpose of teachers and students’ participation in internal governance of primary and secondary schools is to promote the rationalization of the internal governance structure of primary and secondary schools and improve the exercise of teachers and students’ rights to participate in internal governance of schools.The participation of teachers and students in the internal governance of primary and secondary schools is not only conducive to achieving modernization,diversification,and democratization of school governance,but also improves the sense of belonging and achievement of teachers and students,and improves the abilities and qualities of teachers and students in all aspects,which has important practical significance.At present,although there are also discussions on the participation of teachers and students in internal governance in primary and secondary schools,most of them remain at the oral stage,and due to various practical factors,it is difficult for teachers and students to participate in internal governance in primary and secondary schools to actually exert its effectiveness.Although the participation of teachers and students is reasonable and legitimate,there are still problems in the actual process of participation,such as the low level of participation and governance by teachers and students,the narrow channels and opportunities for participation and governance by teachers and students,the lack of sound institutional guarantees and democratic participation,and the limited ability and energy to participate in governance.According to the survey results,the main reasons lie in several aspects,such as imperfect macro institutional support,misconceptions in the concept of participation,and limitations in the ability to participate.Based on the actual survey results and an analysis of the current situation,existing problems,and causes of the participation of teachers and students in the internal governance of primary and secondary schools,this study summarizes the optimization path for teachers and students to participate in the internal governance of primary and secondary schools,including improving the rules and regulations for teachers and students to participate in the internal governance of schools,improving the supervision and evaluation mechanism for teachers and students to participate,improving the incentive mechanism for teachers and students to participate,improving the awareness of teachers and students to participate,and improving the ability of teachers and students to participate Broadening the channels for teachers and students to participate.While proposing the above optimization path,it provides new ideas for further promoting the rational construction of internal governance in primary and secondary schools,ensuring the participation of teachers and students,and improving the effectiveness of internal governance in primary and secondary schools. |
