| In recent years, with the "double first-class" college construction and the progress of higher education reform, inclusive development requires that the governance capacity and level of governance of the university be comprehensively improved, involving the reform and development of various power subjects and governance content and methods within the university. As core stakeholders, college students have gradually become high-quality citizens with political ideas, legal awareness and social responsibility in the learning process, and their willingness to participate and demand for rights in internal governance have also become stronger.Formal student organizations are mass self-governing organizations that are guided and managed by university party committees and youth league committees and carry out activities in accordance with the charter. They play an intermediary role in internal governance and are the main channel for the main body of student power to participate in university internal governance.Based on the existing literature, this paper uses questionnaires and interviews, based on governance theory and stakeholder theory,to start from the two interest relationship chains of school-teacher-student and manager-formal student organization members-ordinary students.Based on the interests of students and reflecting the participation of students ’rights as the starting point, different groups’ knowledge of formal student organizations ’participation in university internal governance was obtained from actual research, and the significance, status quo,and development of formal student organizations’ participation in university internal governance were obtained from actual research.Demand analysis. The study found that formal student organizations ’participation in university internal governance not only helps achieve the realization of students’ rights demands in decision-making information, improves students ’right to speak and participation, reduces the friction between schools and teachers, and forms positive interactions;it also improves students’ sense of belonging The quality of various aspects such as awareness of ownership and improvement of governance ability has multi-faceted value significance. In recent years, domestic universities have gradually explored the localization model of students’ participation in internal governance. However, due to subjective and objective constraints, university students’ participation in university internal governance is still marginalized, and it is difficult for formal student organizations to exert effective results in their own development and participation in governance. The dilemma of formal student organizations’ participation in internal governance mainly comes from the five levels of idea recognition, rules and regulations, management guidance, organizational construction, and role positioning.Based on an analysis of the current situation and dilemma, this paper proposes countermeasures to improve the effectiveness of formal student organizations’ participation in university internal governance from five aspects:changing governance concepts, improving system guarantees, strengthening guidance management, standardizing organizational construction, and fostering governance culture. It is suggested to provide reference for the student organization participation practice in university internal governance. |
