The continuous promotion of the new curriculum reform makes the teaching of single text cannot meet the development needs of students’ core literacy in the new era.The teaching of whole book reading,as an old teaching mode,appears again in front of people in a new form.It is not only included in the curriculum in the form of task groups,but also has a significant increase in the proportion of the new textbooks,which has laid an important auxiliary position for the reading of the whole book.Because teaching students read classic books has many positive meanings,a growing number of professors and teachers pursue studying and practicing the theoretical support and development path of the whole book reading.The Water Margin is a dazzling pearl in the treasure house of Chinese literature.Its immortal glory shines on generations of Chinese people.Due to its huge space,numerous characters and profound thoughts,students are arranged to read in the first volume of the ninth grade.After relatively systematic and complete reading training in the first two years,students should be able to master this large volume of famous works on the cognitive and emotional level.However,many problems in the current reading teaching of the whole book of The Water Margin can still be found in the investigation.From the perspective of teachers,lack of sufficient theoretical and practical experience is the biggest obstacle to the implementation effect;from the perspective of students,they fall into the dilemma of difficult reading,short reading time and low reading interest.The Task-driven Reading Teaching for the Whole Book is based on a variety of theories highlights the main position of students’ reading,and integrates a variety of curriculum elements,with various learning tasks as the top-level design,which are specifically implemented in a variety of Chinese practice activities.Various factors work together and have multiple effects.The implementation of the Task-driven Reading Teaching for the Whole Book of the Water Margin can effectively improve the current situation of the Water Margin reading teaching.For this reason,this thesis is dedicated to exploring a more systematic and complete Task-driven Reading Teaching implementation path and methods for the Whole Book of the Water Margin.The research methods of this thesis are literature research,questionnaire survey and case analysis.Through extensive perusal of the relevant literature and practical cases that organically integrate Task-driven reading with the whole book reading,and from the middle school students issued the theoretical basis and operational steps of the Task-driven Reading Teaching for the Whole Book of the Water Margin,and then in reading the original version of the the Water Margin and commenting on and interpreting the literature repeatedly,in-depth understanding of the connotation of the original work and capturing the flashing literary brilliance therein,in view of the teaching status learned through questionnaires and interviews,Based on the analysis of students’ learning situation and teachers’ confusion,a series of planning,implementation and assessment strategies are worked out.The first is the preparation before reading teaching,including the selection of reading version and the establishment of reading objectives;secondly,the design principles and forms of reading tasks should follow the principles of keeping pace with the times,creating situations,step-by-step,experiencing participation and combining primary and secondary,and comprehensively use various types of reading task forms;then to the design and implementation of the reading class.Based on this,a reading task list of the whole book is generated according to every ten times as a reading cycle.At the same time,in different stages of reading,three progressive classes are adopted to demonstrate,motivate and evaluate students’ reading,so as to realize the connection and transfer between inside and outside the class.Finally,three basic class types will be designed for practice in the practice school,and teaching records and after-class reflection will be included.It is expected to provide more ideas and references for the current teaching for the whole book reading of the Water Margin.
