Novels have always been popular with high school students.The novel enriches people’s single life experience in a virtual way.With the development of the new curriculum reform,cultivating students’ ability of independent learning,cooperation and inquiry has become the main development trend of teaching activities.As the case stands,the teaching of novels,as an important part of Chinese reading teaching in senior high schools,is not satisfactory.On the one hand,teachers’ model of novel interpretation is based on the teaching reference materials.On the other hand,students lack the logic of novel thinking,and their understanding of novel text depends on teachers’ reminding.It is difficult for students to take on the roles of the novel content,and there is always a certain distance between real life and the text.Students can not deeply understand the charm of novels,and the teaching of novels falls into a situation that makes students uninteresting.The reading,thinking and expressing teaching method,as a systematic and operational teaching method,guides students to gradually analyze and understand works comprehensively and deeply.This thesis is mainly based on the theory of the Reading,Thinking and Expressing teaching method,adopting the documentation research method,questionnaires survey and case study.Through the review and analysis of the literature,combined with the theory,form my own views.The paper mainly consists of the following parts:The first part is an introduction to the Reading,Thinking and Expressing teaching method.The definition of the Reading,Thinking and Expressing teaching method,the theoretical source of this teaching method and the feasibility of its implementation in high school novel teaching.The second part mainly analyzes the current situation of the teaching of novels in high school Chinese textbooks.First of all,it analyzes the situation of the selection of the total novels in the senior high school textbooks,and then surveys the problems in the current senior high school novel teaching in the form of questionnaires and interviews,and summarizes the causes of the problems.The third part,based on the survey results and problem attribution,puts forward corresponding solutions based on the Reading,Thinking and Expressing teaching method.The first is to strengthen the multiple interpretations of the novel;The second is to cultivate students’ thinking of novel reading;Third,multidimensional expression promotes novel experience.In the fourth part,the strategy of the Reading,Thinking and Expressing teaching method is applied to the specific classroom teaching practice to make a summary and reflection.It is hoped that this thesis can be beneficial to the teaching of senior Chinese novels,improve the classroom efficiency and promote the development of high school novel teaching methods.Finally,I hope to make a little contribution to the teaching career of front-line teachers.
