Former Soviet Union's well-known education practitioner Sukhulinski said: "To learn,you must first learn to read." Since 2000,since the OECD launched the PISA test,more and more mathematics researchers and front-line teachers have realized that not only language and English need to be read,but mathematics reading is also very necessary."Compulsory Education Mathematics Curriculum Standards(2011 Edition)" and "Ordinary Senior High School Mathematics Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition)" both emphasized that it is necessary to cultivate students' autonomous learning ability,which are inseparable from mathematical reading.In addition,judging from the trend of college entrance examinations in mathematics in recent years,there are more and more topics that focus on examining students' mathematical reading comprehension ability.Therefore,we need to strengthen the cultivation of students' mathematical reading ability.The main problems solved by the research are:(1)field study through in-depth classroom research to obtain the current situation of cultivating middle school students' mathematical reading ability;(2)based on the results of the current situation survey,combined with related theories,constructing a teaching model to train middle school students' mathematical reading ability Training strategy.In order to solve the above problems,the research is divided into three stages: the first stage: based on the literature review,the author conducted a half-year classroom observation in Linfen City School Junior High School and Xiangfen County High School,and selected 6 teachers from it Conducted in-depth interviews with 10 students,used the Nvivo software to sort out and analyze the survey data,and obtained the current status of cultivating middle school students' mathematical reading ability.The second stage: based on the results of the current situation survey,the combination of inductive and theoretical teaching models method,exploring the cultivation path of mathematics reading ability and constructing the teaching mode;The third stage: focus research on the classroom,analyzing the interview materials and classroom observation videos,and refining the training strategy under the teaching mode.The main conclusions of the study are as follows:(1)Problems existing in the development of mathematics reading ability of middle school students: unhappy reading:insufficient understanding of mathematical reading,insufficient interest,insufficient motivation(lack of internal motivation),and inability to read: poor mathematical reading habits,lack of thinking,obstacles(lack of path and method),and inefficient reading:Mathematics reading comprehension ability,transformation ability,and expression ability are relatively weak(mathematics dyslexia);(2)Aiming at existing problems and guided by the second language acquisition theory,the mathematics reading process is divided into three stages of occurrence,operation and output,and the mathematics is refined Reading,mathematical thinking,and mathematical expression are the constituent elements of the teaching model,expounded its connotation,structural framework and operating procedures.and the "reading-thinking-expression" teaching model is constructed.In order to ensure the smooth implementation of the teaching model,with the operating procedures as the guide,the operation strategies of the teaching model are as follows:(1)New Lectures: Use reading skills to promote new knowledge understanding;attach importance to inspiration and guidance,promote reading thinking;encourage mathematical expression,exercise reading thinking.(2)Exercises: Reading math problems to stimulate the fun of solving problems;advocating mathematical problems to strengthen reading comprehension.(3)Review class: Establish a knowledge network to make the mind visible;advocate variant research to broaden the horizon of reading;encourage reflection and summary to achieve deep learning.Through research,I hope to provide some guidance and inspiration for teachers' reading teaching and students' reading learning,and practically improve middle school students' mathematical reading ability.
