The concept of the community of preschool teacher learning,also known as the preschool alliance community,is derived from the community in the field of education.It is a professional learning community formed by kindergarten and preschool teachers,and it is an important environment for preschool teacher professional learning and development of professional abilities.The preschool alliance community is a learning community established with the goal of narrowing the urban-rural gap,coordinating balanced development,achieving the sharing of high-quality resources,and jointly improving the level of kindergarten management.It is an important way for preschool teachers to achieve professional development through dialogue and cooperation,exchange and discussion,and sharing of high-quality learning resources based on a common vision,professional philosophy,and values.The preschool alliance community can provide a good support system for preschool teachers to promote their professional abilities and is an important means and platform for the development of kindergarten teacher professional abilities.Therefore,exploring how the preschool alliance community can effectively promote the development of preschool teacher abilities based on practical situations is an important topic in the field of preschool education.This study is guided by the theory of learning organizations and situational learning theory,and adopts a case study method to conduct a four-month follow-up investigation of four preschool teachers who participate in the preschool alliance community based on the core values of co-learning,co-research,and resource sharing in specific situations.Using the interaction between preschool teachers and the learning environment of the alliance community as the starting point,the study explores the construction process of the preschool alliance community’s theme activity platform based on the development of preschool teacher professional abilities.Through interviews and anecdotal records,the study describes and analyzes the process of promoting the growth of preschool teacher professional abilities through practical activities in the alliance community.Through exploring the construction process of the preschool alliance community’s theme activity platform,the following characteristics of the construction of the preschool alliance community were summarized: the determination of the activity concepts of co-learning,resource sharing,and co-research,the promotion of various professional abilities of preschool teachers,the creation of co-learning themes such as master studios,job mentoring,and academic salons,the creation of multiple research and study themes such as sending teachers to rural areas and joint research and study,and the creation of co-research themes such as special lectures and activity observation.The study also found that the preschool alliance community can promote the development of preschool teacher professional abilities through various activities,such as a mutual agreement and signing of a protocol to establish the alliance’s constitution,release the alliance consensus,and establish a communication mechanism to determine the common goals,plan activities,and define operating rules.The study concludes that preschool teachers can obtain different professional ability enhancements under different alliance theme activities.The development of preschool teacher professional abilities can be better promoted through a well-established support system,autonomous theoretical learning,practical situations,and the construction of a professional learning community for teachers.
