| With the rapid development of science and economy,China is in urgent need of comprehensive and innovative talents.However,the traditional single teaching method can no longer meet the requirements of society for the cultivation of high-quality talents,so we urgently need to further solve these thorny problems through teaching reform.Therefore,STEM education came into being.However,under the traditional STEM teaching method,learning knowledge flows in one direction and teaching resources are scarce,which hinders the development of students’ creative consciousness and innovation ability to some extent.The 6E teaching model is a teaching model based on concept transformation and constructivism,which can be applied to STEM courses.The 6E teaching model pays more attention to the development of students’ practical inquiry thinking and the practice of engineering design.This teaching model realizes the concept of subject integration of STEM education by cultivating students’ inquiry ability,problemsolving ability and creativity in STEM classes.The first chapter expounds the research background of this thesis from three aspects,such as the demand for cultivating innovative talents under the background of international education.According to the primary school science curriculum standards and by combing and analyzing relevant literature,it puts forward the research questions,clarifies the research significance,expounds the research content,and determines the research methods of this thesis.The second chapter defines the core concepts such as STEM education,and from the perspective of integrating theory with reality,expounds and analyzes the constructivist learning theory designed by STEM education project based on 6E teaching mode.On the basis of literature review,starting from the theory,it lays a theoretical foundation for the design and implementation of STEM educational activities with the theme of "Water Purification".The third chapter systematically analyzes the learners’ learning situation,teaching objectives,content,process and evaluation design of this case,and then selects the specific operation steps under the framework of 6E teaching mode to carry out teaching design and implementation.In the last part of this chapter,the concept map of interdisciplinary knowledge of STEM education project is summarized,and the evaluation methods and methods of this case are expounded,so as to prepare for the implementation of this case.The fourth chapter carries out teaching analysis,process design,implementation process design and teaching activity design for the STEM education activity "Water Purification" respectively.After the implementation of STEM education activities based on 6E teaching mode,the author summarizes the implementation effect of STEM education activities according to the real reflection in students’ classroom and through communication with teachers,and provides effective suggestions for the design and implementation of the next case.The fifth chapter mainly expounds the use of embedded hybrid method design,that is,embedding quantitative research in qualitative research.The quantitative research adopts quasiexperimental research design of pre-test and post-test,and the qualitative data adopts semistructured interview.Teachers distributed STEM Attitude Questionnaire,STEM Career Interest Questionnaire and Creativity Questionnaire to the students in the experimental class and the control class respectively for pre-test and post-test of teaching activities.At the same time,after the collected questionnaires were counted,SPSS data analysis was used to test whether there were significant differences in the overall level of these three dimensions between the experimental class and the control class.It is found that STEM teaching activities based on 6E teaching mode can significantly improve students’ STEM attitude,STEM career interest and creativity than traditional teaching mode.The sixth chapter mainly summarizes the research conclusions,shortcomings and prospects of this thesis.This thesis first constructs a STEM education project based on 6E teaching mode,and then applies this mode to design and implement the case.Finally,on the basis of analyzing the necessity and feasibility of STEM education project based on 6E teaching mode,it explores the influence of STEM education activities based on 6E teaching mode on students’ STEM attitude,STEM career interest and creativity in primary schools,with a view to providing reference for implementing STEM education projects in primary science courses in the future. |
