| In 2020,the Ministry of Education proposed a nationwide online teaching program,which would halt classes without ceasing learning and teaching,due to the outbreak of the epidemic.This initiative was quickly implemented.However,in the three years of development,the management of online teaching in schools has faced many problems and challenges,especially in rural areas where various conditions are not perfect.Research into education has recently shifted its focus to the question of how to initiate online teaching management,enhance its efficacy in rural primary and secondary schools,and enhance the quality of online instruction.This research,conducted in rural primary and secondary schools,focused on the issues and the proposed solutions,utilizing literature analysis,questionnaires,and interviews.The data was then analyzed using SPSS.18 statistical software.The four dimensions of online teaching process management,online teaching management concept,online teaching classroom management,and teacher management,based on post-modern education management theory and humanistic management theory,were examined in the context of the current situation and strategies of online teaching management in rural primary and secondary schools,as revealed by questionnaires and interviews.The study revealed that the online teaching management in rural primary and secondary schools is of a medium quality,implying that urgent issues exist.It was determined that the following issues exist in rural primary and secondary school online teaching management: 1In rural areas,the management of online teaching is highly capricious,the system of oversight is inadequate,the monitoring and reward system is not flawless,and the leadership team is not reliable;2The outdated management concept of online teaching,lacking a people-oriented and diversified approach,and a lack of service consciousness,renders classroom management of online teaching difficult.Moreover,the lack of constraints for students and the teachers’ teaching design,which are not in line with the characteristics of online teaching,as well as the absence of effective classroom interaction and the large size of online teaching classes,further complicate matters.The teaching concept of the teachers is antiquated and antiquated,their information technology proficiency is not up to par,and they are deficient in information technology literacy.Based on the above problems,strategies for optimizing online teaching management are proposed.The online teaching process management should strengthen the scientific management of online teaching process-standardize the online teaching behavior;the online teaching management concept should establish the human-oriented management concept,reflect the diversified management in online teaching and also strengthen the service consciousness,form the advanced and scientific online teaching management concept,and clarify the online teaching management direction;the online classroom management should strengthen the online teaching classroom In terms of online classroom management,we should strengthen online teaching classroom management and guarantee the quality improvement of online teaching.Optimization strategies are proposed in terms of classroom environment management and student learning behavior management,and home-school joint establishment of cooperative supervision mechanism to promote the effect of classroom teaching;in terms of teacher management,the main management of teachers should be strengthened to meet the needs of online teaching talents.Strengthen the management and construction of teachers’ team,change teachers’ teaching philosophy,improve teachers’ information literacy through information training;implement the management of teachers’ online teaching evaluation,motivate teachers to actively improve their online teaching ability and improve teaching effectiveness.This study examines the present state of online teaching management in rural primary and secondary schools,proposing optimization strategies tailored to the situation.The theory of online teaching management in rural China is not only enriched,but management methods for enhancing rural online teaching management are also provided,thereby elevating the management level and advancing the quality of online teaching. |
