Research On The Current Situation And Countermeasures Of Cultivating Masculinity In Middle School Physical Education From The Perspective Of Academic Core Literacy

In May 2020,People’s Daily reported that Si Zefu,a member of the Standing Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference(CPPCC),put forward a proposal to pay attention to and prevent the "feminization" trend of male teenagers.On January 28,2021,in response to this proposal,the official website of the Ministry of Education released the Letter on Reply to Proposal No.4404(Education Category 410)of the Third Session of the13 th National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference.The reply affirmed the importance of cultivating masculinity,which has gradually formed a new educational concept in the core literacy system of physical education.The junior high school stage is an important stage of individual socialization and a key period of forming personalized personality.Different growth environments and cultural atmospheres affect the growth of middle school students to varying degrees.As a quality rooted in the excellent historical culture of Chinese tradition,masculinity is particularly valuable in today’s rapidly developing society.On the one hand,cultivating the masculinity of middle school students is the need of today’s era,on the other hand,it is also an inevitable requirement for the development of China’s sports industry.This study firstly collates and analyzes the ancient cultural connotation and modern cultural connotation about masculine quality,and based on the cultural connotation of masculinity,the three major components of core sports literacy are used as the composition template to initially analyze the composition elements of masculinity,and after using the Delphi method with strong applicability and through the unanimous agreement of experts,it is clear that the composition of masculinity is 5 primary elements and 17 secondary elements,and the 5 primary elements are: Masculine appearance,masculine behavior,motor skills,masculine temperament,and masculine quality.The teaching objectives of masculinity in physical education are divided into the quality objectives of external fitness and the quality objectives of internal nurturing according to the composition elements.Based on the components of masculinity among middle school students,the content and structure of the questionnaire were developed.The survey object is 200 junior high school students and 100 middle school physical education teachers.The contents of the questionnaire mainly included whether the students had some understanding of masculinity,the students’ recognition of the cultivation of masculinity in middle school physical education,whether they felt the cultivation of masculinity in middle school physical education,and the students’ practical application ability of masculinity.The contents of the teacher questionnaire mainly include two parts.The first part is to investigate the influencing factors of masculinity cultivation in middle school physical education.The second part is about the various components of masculinity: implementation approach,cultivation content,cultivation method,evaluation method and so on.Through the questionnaire,we find out the problems in cultivating masculinity in middle school physical education,mainly including: low attention and shallow recognition of masculinity by families,schools,and society;The advantage of physical education is not obvious enough;Lack of sports programs;Physical education teachers lack of masculinity related literacy;Masculine culture atmosphere is not strong in junior high school,etc.Through the problems and the present situation,this paper puts forward the countermeasures for the cultivation of masculinity in middle school students.In response to the problems identified,the following countermeasures are proposed: First,strengthen the depth of home-school cooperation related to masculinity: improve the organization of home-school cooperation;Enrich the content of cooperation;Create new cooperation models.Secondly,improve the content literacy related to teacher masculinity;Improve teacher masculinity education awareness;Enhance the knowledge reserve of teacher masculinity;Improve the scientific research level of teacher masculinity.Third,optimize the curriculum design of masculinity related content;Clarify teaching objectives;Fill in the teaching content;Improving teaching methods;Improve teaching evaluation.Fourth,expand extracurricular sports activities;Increase content;Guarantee time;Extracurricular sports homework.Fifth,optimize the cultural environment of campus sports related to masculinity: build an offline campus cultural atmosphere;Create an online internet cultural atmosphere.
