With the rapid development of science and technology,China has put forward higher requirements for the scientific literacy of the whole people in recent years.The Outline of the Action Plan for the National Science Quality(2021-2035)issued by the Ministry of Education pointed out that scientific and technological innovation and scientific popularization are the two wings to achieve innovative development,and scientific popularization should be placed in the same important position as scientific and technological innovation.The age of 3-6 is the key period for people to develop their intelligence and develop good character and habits.Therefore,the cultivation of scientific literacy should start with children.Kindergarten is the main place to cultivate children’s scientific literacy and learn scientific knowledge.In recent years,the educational function of science and technology museums has gradually become the primary function.For kindergartens,science and technology museums can provide kindergartens with better popular science education resources;For the science and technology museum,children are an important part of its audience.A good cooperative relationship between them can promote the vigorous development of China’s science popularization education.This paper explores the basic situation and influencing factors of the cooperation between science and technology museums and kindergartens to carry out popular science education for young children,so as to provide direction for improving children’s scientific literacy and helping science and technology museums and kindergartens better cooperate to carry out popular science education activities for young children.This study selected kindergarten teachers as the object of investigation,and thoroughly understood the current situation of science popularization education activities between science and technology museums and kindergartens by issuing the questionnaire of "Current Situation of Science Popularization Education Activities for Children in Cooperation between Libraries and Kindergartens".SPSS25.0 was used to analyze the data obtained,and interviews were conducted with 8 preschool teachers,2 kindergarten principals and 4 staff of the Science and Technology Museum to explore the influencing factors of the cooperation between the Science and Technology Museum and kindergartens to carry out preschool science popularization education activities.Finally,the following conclusions were reached:(1)On the whole,the frequency of the cooperation between the kindergarten and kindergartens to carry out preschool science popularization education activities is relatively low,and the target group is focused on middle and large class children,At the same time,the kindergarten and the science and technology museum have not formed a long-term and stable cooperative relationship,and lack a complete feedback and evaluation system for educational activities;(2)At present,there is a serious shortage of cooperation teachers in the kindergarten and the science and technology museum;(3)The rich educational resources of science and technology museums have not been rationally utilized,and the type of utilization is single;(4)Preschool teachers can well grasp the purpose of cooperative education;The selection of cooperative activities is closely related to the contents of kindergarten science activities;In the form of cooperation,cooperation between teachers is the main;(5)Through interviews with preschool teachers and the staff of the Science and Technology Museum,it was found that the lack of policies,funds,distance between the museum and the kindergarten,children’s safety issues,the attitude of the kindergarten to cooperative activities,the situation of professional science popularization talents and the resources of preschool science popularization education in the Science and Technology Museum were the main factors that affected the cooperation between the museum and the kindergarten to carry out preschool science popularization education activities.According to the above conclusions,this study puts forward countermeasures and suggestions based on kindergartens and science museums,and makes joint efforts for better cooperation between science museums and kindergartens to carry out preschool science popularization education activities. |
