| The general objective of science curriculum in primary schools is to cultivate students’ scientific literacy,also lays a good foundation for citizens’ continuing-study and lifelong development.Existing scientific teaching approaches cannot develop students’ scientific literacy well.For the sake of further improving students’ scientific literacy and teaching effect of science classrooms,it is necessary to reform primary school science education and develop curriculum resources.As a new way of popularizing science popularization,popular science drama is an activity form integrating process,scene,interest,art and education.Introducing a popular science show in the elementary school science education,teaching with entertaining,which is conducive to the cultivation of children’s scientific literacy.This paper mainly studies the development of popular science dramas in primary school science education,and constructs the theoretical framework for the development of popular science drama in school teaching.First of all,by collecting relevant literature,we analyze the current situation of science education at home and abroad,the present situation of the popular science show,and the development status of popular science show in school curriculum.Secondly,by means of questionnaire survey,this paper analyzes and summarizes the teaching status of science curriculum in a primary school in Fuzhou.And then,according to the requirements of primary school science curriculum standards,combined with primary schools actual teaching content,the development and creation of popular science dramas related to teaching content.Finally,the designed popular science drama is rehearsed and applied to teaching practice.We analyze and evaluate the results of the practice through interviews and observations.It is found that in the process of participating in the performance and watching the popular science drama,students have had the experience of scientific inquiry,and have a better understanding and mastery of relevant scientific knowledge and scientific experiments.Popular science dramas in the application of science education will improve students’ scientific literacy,enrich curriculum resources in science education,and promote professional development of teachers.It is worthy of further research and practice. |
