| The social emotional competence of teachers is a key factor in the quality of education.Young children often have a tendency to imitate and approach teachers,and kindergarten teachers have a catalytic,infectious and regulating effect on their emotions and their moral,cultural and personal qualities influence young children in their teaching activities,Therefore,it is very vital for kindergarten teachers to possess social emotional competence.Firstly,this study investigates the current situation of social emotion competence of public kindergartens teachers in Hantai District through questionnaire method.With the questionnaire compiled by Wang Yurong as the survey tool,the questionnaire included five dimensions:self-cognition competence,self-regulation competence,social cognition competence,interpersonal communication competence,and responsible decision-making competence,and 205 valid questionnaires were distributed.Based on the survey data collected,With the method of description statistics and differential analysis,the current situation of social emotion competence of public kindergartens teachers in Hantai District is as follows: The overall level of social emotion competence of public kindergarten teachers in Hantai District is relatively high,Demographic variables such as gender,age,marital status,major,education,salary,professional title,and type of labor relationship do not constitute significant differences,in the overall social emotion competence of kindergarten teachers,However,the teaching age has a significant impact on the teachers’ social emotion competence,And the teachers that more than 10 years of teaching age whose social emotion competence is higher than 10 years of teaching age teachers.Secondly,using the interview method survey Hantai area public kindergarten teachers social emotion competence problems and reasons,in the form of outline made to interview 14 teachers,Finding that sample kindergarten teachers social emotion competence exists the following problems,from the overall level: kindergarten teachers responsible decisionmaking competence is low level,The selfcognitive ability of kindergarten teachers social emotion competence is not powerful.From the perspective of different population information: the interpersonal competence of male kindergarten teachers is insufficient;the social emotion competence and selfregulation competence of unmarried kindergarten teachers are not high;the social emotion competence of kindergarten teachers under thirty three years is poor;the social emotion competence of nonenrolled kindergarten teachers is relatively low level.Finally,in order to improve kindergarten teachers’ social emotion competence,this study combined with Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs Theory,Multiple Intelligences Theory and Emotional Intelligence Theory put forward countermeasures: kindergarten teachers personal perspective: kindergarten teachers subjectivity to encourage independent development,kindergarten teachers,initiative enhance innovative teaching decision,enhance their professional value recognition.From the perspective of kindergarten managers: practice the caring leadership,reduce the load of kindergarten teachers,and provide grassroots teachers the opportunity to participating in decision-making.Education management department: optimize the training content,pay attention to the social emotion competence,improve kindergarten teachers’ welfare benefits and implement it.Social perspective:change the concept of identification value,expand the news media positive publicity,strengthen the connection of home and kindergarten. |
