Abstract/Summary:
Under the background of "building moral character",the integration of thinking and political education into the geography curriculum is a concrete practice to implement the goal of building moral character.Therefore,the integration of Civic Education into geography teaching not only enriches the curriculum content of geography core literacy in the new era,but also is an important initiative to promote students’ overall development.First of all,through the combing of the literature related to curriculum thinking and geography education,this paper fully recognizes that the full implementation of the goal of moral education is an inherent requirement for teachers to adapt to the development of education in the new era.The study of geography curriculum thinking politics based on the cultivation of regional cognitive ability is not only a powerful grip for geography teaching to implement the goal of establishing moral education,but also an important way to organically integrate the four core literacies.On the basis of clarifying the basic concepts of core literacy,Civic Education and geography core literacy,the inner connection between the four geography core literacies and Civic Education is theoretically analyzed,and the inner connection between high school geography knowledge and Civic Education is established with the link of serving national strategies and regional development.Secondly,on the basis of literature combing,this study carried out a research work on the questionnaire of high school geography curriculum of Civics from two dimensions,teachers and students,to analyze its current situation and problems.The results found that:(1)from the teachers’ point of view,there are problems such as the overall low level of teachers’ Civics theory,the lack of innovation in teachers’ integration of Civics teaching methods,and the weakness of teachers’ innovation in teaching Civics in the selected regional geography courses.(2)From the students’ point of view,there are phenomena such as students’ insufficient cognition and understanding of geography course Civics,poor effect of geography course Civics education and single form of geography course Civics and students’ lack of interest.This not only affects the development of the subject,but also is not conducive to the realization of the goal of establishing moral education.It is an important practical guidance for the development of the geography discipline to actively carry out the thinking politics of the geography curriculum in high school.Finally,on the basis of the questionnaire survey and theoretical analysis,the selective compulsory two(regional geography)of the 2019 Chinese version of the geography textbook is taken as an example,and the thought and method of integrating ideology and politics into geography classroom teaching are summarized by digging deeper into the curriculum thinking and politics elements of the textbook.We also take "the influence of geographic environment on regional development" and "the influence of South-North water transfer on regional development" in the textbook as examples,and carry out the case design of curriculum thinking politics,and put forward the strategy of teaching thinking politics in high school geography based on the cultivation of regional cognitive ability:(1)strengthen educators’(1)Strengthen educators’ ideological and political theory learning.(2)Improving the teaching method of integrating the thinking and politics of the curriculum.(3)Integrate the geography in life into the whole process of teaching thought politics in geography curriculum.(4)Continuously promote study tours based on vernacular geography.At the same time,the revelation of integrating regional cognition into the teaching of thinking politics of geography curriculum is drawn:(1)Cultivating regional cognitive ability is an inherent requirement of core literacy in geography.(2)Regional cognitive ability cultivation is one of the effective ways to practice the Civics of geography curriculum.(3)Cultivation of regional cognitive ability is an important way for students to form the ability of geographic decision-making and analysis.(4)Curriculum Civics of Regional Cognitive Ability Cultivation greatly enhances the effect of education in geography classrooms.
