| Since the outbreak of Newcastle Pneumonia,public health awareness has never been greater and home fitness has become a popular form of fitness in the post-epidemic era.Live fitness has broken the limits of time and space,enabling people to participate in sports in a panoptic and remote manner,expanding the social space for self-presentation,establishing a social circle of mimetic companionship that accumulates emotional energy and heals group isolation.However,along with the satisfaction of multiple needs,the "greenhouse environment" provided by live fitness online platforms has also given rise to aesthetic deviations,value tendencies,ethical misconduct and many other disorders and chaos.Therefore,this paper focuses on the fitness awareness and online fitness behaviours of users of live streaming platforms.Based on the media landscape theory,we take Liu Jiayin’s live streaming studio as the research object and use the rooted theory analysis method to explore the causes and relationship structure of the live streaming fitness media landscape through interviews and participatory observation,and answer the question of the influence of the live streaming fitness media landscape on people’s real life from the perspective of endogenous experience.The study finds that: first,the live fitness mediascape includes a national fitness landscape with the body as the mediating immersion experience and a self-performance landscape with social sharing as the theme,and its generation is based on three prerequisites,namely policy support and official media publicity;celebrity aura and fan traffic;and live empowerment and collective participation consensus.Secondly,media inducement and internal subject demand are the two main categories of reasons affecting the formation of the live fitness media landscape.External media inducements prolong users’ media engagement time by means of media technology and marketing,so that external motivations are transformed into internal subject demand satisfaction and complete monetisation of users’ internet behaviour data.The internal subject demand factor gives meaning and value to the body and is the behavioural motivation for manipulating the symbols to construct the self-landscape.Internal subject needs include group belonging,self-fulfilment,social interaction,autonomous choice and playful entertainment.Internal and external factors combine to drive the formation of mediascapes.Thirdly,the production logic of live fitness mediascape is that the mimetic reality is the starting point of landscape production,the narrative of the landscape is completed through symbolic transmission,and eventually the body is disciplined to mark the formation of a landscape society,and the redistribution of power structures is the concrete impact of the penetration of the landscape into real life.The concluding part of the essay proposes suggestions for managing the crisis of alienation in the mediascape,calling on the participating subjects to dialectically consider the illusion of consumption presented in the mediascape,to seek an awakening of bodily practices in a balanced interaction between subject and object,and to explore a way of life that shapes a healthy self. |
