Abstract/Summary:
The development of technology has made the application of smart terminals more and more widespread,and smartphones have penetrated into people’s daily lives.Webcast instant technology has made it possible to cloud fitness without leaving home.Fitness live streaming,represented by Tik Tok,is dedicated to spreading fitness knowledge and providing fitness guidance for users,and is rapidly gaining popularity in the society.Fitness live streaming has brought more possibilities for traditional exercise methods and experiences.Based on this,this paper provides diverse perspectives on the study of fitness live streaming by taking how the media available technology of Tik Tok penetrates into users’ daily life and influences their behavior as the entry point.This paper is divided into five parts,with the first chapter defining relevant concepts and theoretical research.The second chapter focuses on the audience of fitness live streaming as the research object,and the information of the obtained questionnaire sample is analyzed with the tools of Questionnaire Star,SPSS 25.0 and Excel to understand the basic demographic characteristics and usage tendency of the sample.The third chapter is how the three types of affordance of Tik Tok penetrate into the audience’s daily life from the perspective of media affordance.Firstly,the four available powers of mobile affordance-portability,accessibility,locatability and compatibility-break the limitations of time and space for sports in the past and realize users’ needs to access information anytime and anywhere.Secondly,the editable,reviewable,reproducible,scalable and correlatable power of production affordance quantifies fitness standards,body standards,etc.,so that the aesthetics of the body returns to rationality and shapes the perception of a good life,thus influencing one’s own behavior.The social affordance of salutability,coordination,and connection builds a fusion relationship with the active and passive transformation of audience receiving information,and the information release motivates others and self to build a social network of circles.Finally,the affordance is analyzed with user motivation and motivation satisfaction,and the Pearson correlation test shows that the higher the degree of user satisfaction,the higher the willingness of continuous use.Chapter 4 shows the data monitoring,body anxiety and media dependence in the perspective of affordance of Tik Tok.Firstly,affordance empowers users and at the same time forms a constraint,so that users are in the state of being monitored by data in real time while freely choosing.Secondly,affordance can bring physical beauty back to rationality and give rise to new body anxiety,which manifests itself as psychological anxiety due to the body’s inability to meet the "standard" requirements.Finally,affordance can cause users’ media dependence,making them feel lonely even when they are "accompanied".At the same time,the media’s active catering to users’ preferences may cause cognitive bias in users who have been using the media for a long time,and the unthinking acceptance of information provided by the media may eventually lead to the loss of human subjectivity.Chapter 5 firstly summarizes the research content of this paper,and secondly provides some feasible suggestions for the future development of fitness live streaming,including that Tik Tok establishes a connection with wearable devices to facilitate users’ quantification of exercise data,the platform should enrich the content of the topic community section to provide users with a channel to express themselves,multiple parties cooperate to standardize the content system to alleviate the generation and spread of anxiety,and users should have the ability to be alert to criticism and reflection in the process of use.
