| Career development is a dynamic process that lasts for a lifetime and is influenced by internal and external forces within an individual.For junior high school students,career education is not equivalent to career choice and development.It does not overly emphasize its significance for students’ career development,but starts from personal lifelong development and self realization,emphasizing the value and significance of students’ growth in the life process.The mechanism of vocational enlightenment education is to promote the unity of students’ self-awareness and vocational cognition,and to preliminarily form the concept of vocational self-awareness.The ultimate goal of vocational education is to promote students’ independent development,with a focus on promoting their academic level.On the basis of combining self-awareness and professional cognition,students can connect their current studies with future plans,and achieve organic integration of the two,To promote students’ career development.The core of junior high school career education curriculum is to prepare students for further education,enabling them to understand different channels of education,preparing them for subject selection for ordinary high school students,preparing them for major selection for vocational high school,secondary vocational school and other school types,and enabling them to understand their future development directions.Laying the foundation for high school and future career development.Through literature search and sorting,the author takes the theories related to career development and curriculum design as the theoretical basis for this study.Through questionnaire survey and interview methods,the career development level,current status of career education,and students’ career development needs of middle school students were investigated.Analysis and summary showed that middle school students have a high level of self-awareness,but a low level of professional cognition.Students do not understand the external environment,and therefore cannot combine self-awareness with career cognition,reflecting their high demand for career education.And most students have the highest demand for understanding ordinary high schools and humanities and science subjects,indicating that this part of the content is what students need the most.Therefore,when designing course content,this part has also been emphasized.Through investigation,it was found that the current situation of career education is not optimistic and urgently requires attention from multiple parties.Through a survey of students’ career development needs,based on learner research,social needs,and research related to junior high school career education,the curriculum goals for junior high school career education have been formulated.The overall goals are divided into four aspects: comprehensive understanding and evaluation of oneself,reasonable planning of learning and life,enrollment planning,and social and career development,and the development of stage goals.Based on the principles of course objectives and content selection,corresponding course content has been developed,presented in the form of labor courses.According to the four dimensions of course objectives,the course content is divided into four modules,each module including corresponding content requirements and activity suggestions.Organize the course content to form a preliminary course structure. |
