| Basketball is a sport that combines running,jumping and shooting and requires a high level of physical ability.Shooting is the most important form of scoring in modern basketball and the jump shot has become the most frequent means of scoring in modern basketball,playing an integral role in the game.As the number of jump shots in women’s basketball increases,it is important to have a consistent and efficient jump shot.Most women’s basketball players need the stability of the body to quickly convert horizontal power into vertical upward force in order to improve their shooting percentage.Core strength training is recognised worldwide as a way to improve body stability and performance,and is essential to have a consistent jump shooting percentage.This paper mainly adopts the literature method,expert interview method,Delphi method,experimental method and mathematical statistics method to study the effect of core strength training on jump shot hitting rate of female basketball players in Xi’an Sports College.18 players of women’s basketball team in Xi’an Sports College Academy were randomly divided into experimental group and control group.After 10 weeks of training,the results of the data obtained were collated and analysed.The following conclusions were obtained:(1)Core strength training is an effective training method to improve the jump shooting percentage of female basketball players,and it helps to improve the jump shooting percentage by improving the coordination and stability of female basketball players.(2)After 10 weeks of training,the students in the experimental group with the core strength training intervention showed an increase in the hitting rate of the 1-min timed jump shot,the 5-point spotting jump shot and the 3-point dribbling jump shot compared with the students in the control group with the traditional strength training intervention.(3)After 10 weeks of training,there was no significant difference between the experimental group and the control group in the hitting rate of the 5-point jump shot,but there was a significant difference in the hitting rate of the 3-point dribble jump shot and the 1-min timed jump shot in a complex and unstable condition,indicating that core strength training had a significant effect on the hitting rate of the jump shot in an unstable condition.Although traditional strength training can also improve the strength of the body,it has little effect on the percentage of jump shots in unstable conditions.The following recommendations are made:(1)Core strength training can be an effective training method to improve the shooting percentage of women’s basketball players,and core strength training should be added to daily basketball training to improve the shooting percentage of women’s basketball players.(2)To ensure that female basketball players are proficient in the basic technical movements of jump shooting,they can apply them to more complex movements of shooting to maximise the effect of core strength training.(3)The emphasis on core strength training does not mean that other strength training is neglected.Each training method has its own advantages,and the scientific combination of core strength,traditional strength,special strength and shooting technique should be emphasized in basketball training.Coaches should combine multiple training methods scientifically in their daily training to achieve the training goals of female basketball players more efficiently,which will have an important role to play in improving the practical competition ability of female basketball players. |
