Research ObjectiveMobile phone dependence has great harm to the executive function of the brain.It is an urgent problem to improve the executive function of college students’ mobile phone dependent groups.Based on the behavioral experiment,this study explored the effect of different exercise intervention methods on the executive function of college students’ mobile phone dependence group.Research methodsStudy 1 assessed the overall characteristics of the degree of mobile phone dependence and physical activity level of Wuhan Institute of Physical Education students through the Mobile Phone Addiction Tendency Scale and the International Physical Activity Scale,as well as the correlation between them.Study 2,based on the questionnaire data of study 1,set up mobile phone dependent group and non-mobile phone dependent group to test the executive function(inhibition,refresh task,conversion task),and compare and evaluate the differences between the executive function of college students with different degrees of mobile phone dependence.The third study compared the acute effects of single high-intensity interval training and Taijiquan training on the executive function of college students who rely on mobile phones,and investigated the differences in the intervention effects of different exercise modes.Research results(1)Study 1:The degree of college students’ dependence on mobile phones is at a medium level,and their physical activity is at a high level;Female college students scored significantly higher than male college students in mobile phone dependence;The score of mobile phone dependence of graduate students is significantly higher than that of undergraduate students,and the level of physical activity of undergraduate students is significantly higher than that of graduate students;There is a negative correlation between college students’ mobile phone dependence and their physical activity.(2)Study 2:① In the Stroop task,compared with the non-mobile phone dependent group,the mobile phone dependent group was significantly slower in response time(consistent and inconsistent tasks),and in the Stroop effect(response time),the mobile phone dependent group was significantly smaller than the non-mobile phone dependent group.②In the 2-back and size parity conversion tasks,there was no significant difference in response time and accuracy between the mobile phone dependent group and the non-mobile phone dependent group...(3)Study 3:① In the Stroop task response time index,the main effect of time(before and after intervention)is significant.After comparison,it is found that the response time of all subjects in the pre-intervention test is significantly greater than that after intervention.The interaction of time,group and experimental conditions is significant.The simple effect analysis found that the interference effect of the high-strength interval training group after intervention is greater than that before intervention,while the interference effect of the Taijiquan group before and after intervention is not significantly different.②In the 2-back task,the main effect of reaction time and correct rate is significant,the main effect of group is not significant,and the interaction effect of time and group is not significant.③In the index of reaction time of the odd-even conversion task,the main effect of time and the main effect of condition are significant,and the interaction between time and group is significant.The effect of high intensity interval training on reaction time is relatively better than that of Taijiquan.Conclusions:(1)The degree of mobile phone dependence of college students is affected by gender and educational background.At the same time,correlation analysis found that the higher the level of physical activity,the lower the level of mobile phone dependence;(2)Compared with the normal group,the mobile phone dependent group of Wuhan Institute of Physical Education students performed worse in general cognitive ability,namely,simple reaction time tasks;(3)Both acute Taijiquan and high-intensity interval training can improve the refresh function,conversion function and general cognitive ability of college students who rely on mobile phones,but high-intensity interval training has better effect on improving general cognitive ability and conversion function than Taijiquan.
