These decades, the teenagers’ physical health level is slipping, which arouses the country’s great attention.A number of policies are introduced every year to change the declining physical health level of primary and secondary schools.After-school sports have become an important battlefield to change the current situation. It is also a low-impact aerobic exercise, which is conducive to the physical development of teenagers. However, the traditional training means of roller skating only focus on the exercise of a single movement, and the exercise content is too boring, which is easy to cause sports injuries to students. However, advanced concepts and methods of functional training have been widely used in various sports projects in China. With rich training means and effectively improve students’ physical quality and sports skills. Therefore, this paper attempts to introduce functional training into primary school roller skating curriculum teaching and explore the influence of functional training on primary school roller skating teaching effect through experiments. This study adopts the methods of literature, experiment, expert interview, questionnaire and mathematical statistics. This study takes the influence of functional training on the roller skating teaching effect of primary school students as the research object, and takes 40 members of the roller skating club of Wuhan Optics Valley Experimental Primary School(with two months of roller skating training experience,10 years old)as the experimental objects. They were randomly divided into the control group and the experimental group, and there was no significant difference in physical health, functional motion screening and roller skating skills between the two groups. The traditional physical training means of roller skating were carried out in the control group, and the designed functional training means were carried out in the experimental group. The pre-test and post-test data were analyzed and compared. The collected books were analyzed by SPSS,and the paired sample T-test was used within the group, and the independent sample T-test was used outside the group.Research results:(1)The results of physical health, basic skills of roller skating and level of roller skating in the control group were compared before and after the experiment, and P values were all less than 0.05,with significant differences. The results of functional action screening before and after the experiment showed that P values were greater than 0.05,indicating that there was no significant difference in functional action screening before and after the experiment.(2)The experimental group of physical health, basic skills of roller skating, roller skating level and functional movement screening test before and after the test results obtained P values are less than 0.01,indicating highly significant differences. The comparative analysis of post-test data between the experimental group and the control group shows that: 1.In the physical fitness test, the P value of 50X8round-trip running is 0.911,the P value of 50 m running, sitting forward bending,one-minute skipping and one-minute sit-up are all less than 0.05,indicating that the results of the two groups are significantly different;2.2.The P-value of shoulder flexibility in functional movement screening was 1.000,while the P-value of the other six tests was all less than 0.05,indicating significant difference;3.The analysis results of basic skating techniques found that the P values of basic skating posture, arm swing technique and ground push technique were all less than 0.01,indicating highly significant differences;4.In the post-test results of roller skating level test, the P values of 30 meters speed skating,30 meters snake skating,150 meters sliding, right foot support and left foot support were all less than 0.05,indicating significant differences between the two groups;5.The comparison results of left and right foot support test between the two groups showed that the P value was less than 0.01,showing a highly significant difference.research conclusions:(1)The experimental study found that after 12 weeks of roller skating training intervention, the physical health level of students in both groups was significantly improved.Roller skating can effectively improve the physical health level of children, which is conducive to the promotion of roller skating in school.(2)Functional training can significantly improve students’ bad posture and wrong way of exerting force, effectively optimize the body movement chain, strengthen students’ core stability, promote the balanced development of students’ physical qualities, improve sports performance, and effectively prevent sports injuries.(3)Functional training can effectively improve students’ lower limb strength, body balance and core stability, and effectively correct the bad posture of basic skating posture.(4)Functional training method can improve students’ roller skating level significantly better than traditional training methods.Functional training can effectively improve students’ athletic performance, effectively correct students’ bad posture in roller skating learning, and strengthen their weak ability in roller skating.Functional training is more targeted and more diversified training methods.
