Research purposes: Nowadays, the development of roller skating is becoming increasingly popular. In recent years, the General Administration of Sport of China has promoted vigorously the knowledge of roller skating. The establishment of Roller Skating Association and the release of relevant documents have promoted the rapid development of roller skating.Primary and secondary schools throughout the whole country have established a number of special schools to increase the training of personnel for the project. The study is based on the participation of roller skating training in roller skating schools to understand the current situation of pupils' roller skating and explore the effects of roller skating training on pupils' learning adaptability. The purpose is to provide a theoretical basis for the development of school roller skating and the study of training of pupils' learning adaptability.Research methods: The roller skating characteristic school---Dianshanhu Primary School divides the groups into grade one(male 30,female 30);grade two or three(21 males,21 females with training;21 males,21 females without training);grade four or five(10 males,10 females with training;10 males,10 females without training);and grade six(5males,5females with training;5 males,5 females without training). This study uses questionnaires, learning adaptation scales and SPSS20.0 software to analyze and investigate the participation of students in roller skating, the reasons of affecting pupils' participation and the factors of learning adaptability.Research results:(1)Most students have a certain understanding of roller skating in the roller skating movement. Most students know the roller skating through teachers;most of the students are satisfied with the class time, content, frequency and intensity by percentage. Most of the students like roller skating by percentage. The main contents of roller skating are speed skating and leisure which account for high proportion.(2)The main factors that impede students' participation in roller skating are learning tasks, pressures for further studies, vulnerability and limited coaching ability. The proportion of these three parts is high.(3)There was a significant difference in family environment, independence and perseverance(P<0.01)between participation training and non-participation in training.(4)Students are divided into the training group and the non-participating training group. The students in grade two or three have significant differences in learning attitudes, listening methods, school environment(P<0.05),family environment, independence and perseverance(P<0.01).The students in grade four or five have significant differences in listening methods, family environment and school environment(P<0.01).There are significant differences in listening methods and family environment(P<0.05)in grade six.(5)Comparisons between grade one and other grades: There are differences in learning attitudes, family environment, school environment, independence and perseverance(P<0.05)between grade one and grade two or three; There are differences in learning attitudes, family environment(P<0.01),independence and perseverance(P<0.05)between grade one and grade four or five; There are differences in learning attitudes(P <0.01)and learning methods(P<0.05)between grade one and grade six.(6)Compared with boys, girls who participate in training have significant differences in learning attitudes(P<0.01),school environment, independence, and perseverance(P<0.05);Girls who do not participate in training have significant differences in family environment(P<0.05).Research conclusions:(1)Most students are satisfied with the school roller skating curriculum.Students are very fond of roller skating. The main contents of roller skating are speed skating and leisure.(2)The main objective factors that impede students' participation in roller skating are learning tasks, pressures for further studies, vulnerability and limited coaching ability.(3)Participation in training improves family environment, independence and perseverance.(4)Participation in roller skating training has an effect on pupils' learning adaptability. The learning adaptability of grade two or three is obviously better than that of grade four or five and six.The learning adaptability of grade four or five is obviously better than that of grade six.(5)Students who have participated in roller skating training for a long period of time have significantly improved their learning attitude with the increase of training time;they have certain improvements in learning methods, family environment, school environment, independence, and perseverance. The effects of grade two and three are the most obvious.(6)The learning adaptability of girls participating in roller skating training is obviously better than that of boys.Girls who do not participate in roller skating training are weak in learning adaptability.
