In the era of mobile Internet,clear and panoramic visual products are becoming a new form of news communication.In order to meet the audience’s reading needs,the news communication industry has created a new visual news experience of "concise" and "pleasant".People’s Daily actively participates in the digital transformation in the new media environment and has achieved remarkable results in the field of visual news reporting.In this paper,446 visual reports published by People’s Daily on wechat official account,People’s Daily website and official Sina Weibo during the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics are selected as the research object,and the successful experience of visualization practice of People’s Daily is summarized to provide some references for other new media visual news creation and application.Firstly,this paper applies quantitative statistical methods in terms of form and topic,based on the present status of visual news works,and selects samples during the Beijing Winter Olympic Games from February 1 to February 23,2022.The samples are divided into five categories,namely,live broadcast visualization,short video visualization,infographic visualization,h5 visualization and multimedia integration visualization.In the presentation of topics,it is divided into seven categories,namely the preparation for the Winter Olympics,the arrangement of the Winter Olympics activities,popular athletes,the embodiment of the Winter Olympics spirit,the athletes’ performance,the Winter Olympics publicity,the international friends’ evaluation of the Winter Olympics,and the Winter Olympics mascot.Based on this,the current situation of visual news communication is analyzed.At the same time,the emphasis of different types of the three new media platforms of People’s Daily is analyzed.Secondly,based on the sample material,this paper makes an in-depth analysis of the sample from the perspective of the form,content and mode of visual communication.The analysis shows that the form of People’s Daily in the process of visual communication presents the characteristics of multiple visual symbols,color matching image and animation style popular science.Its content shows the features of subjectivization of the event name and story-oriented news narration;It presents the characteristics of vertical screen report and mass report.Finally,in the visual communication,People’s Daily makes the visual news expression more colorful and achieves the best effect through technology enabling.In the configuration of news content,the setting of "column" and "special topic" is conducive to the establishment of news brands and the dissemination of effective information.In order to better meet the needs of the audience,People’s Daily always puts content creation in the first place,combines appropriate visual technology with high-quality content to meet the needs of diversification,and attaches importance to the communication strategy of presenting news quality.Based on this,this paper explores the enlightenment of its strategy to other media visual news: in the form of presentation,increase the interactive way,create scene-like interaction;In the aspect of news production,increase the cultivation of visual talents and update technical means;In terms of content quality,in-depth mining should be carried out to improve news connotation. |
