Practical Research On The Integration Of The Elderly Into The Digital Information Society In Urban Communities

The rapid development of information technology has made mobile terminal equipment represented by smart phones a necessity in modern people’s daily life.This paper aims to integrate the elderly into the digital information society,and explores how the elderly adapt to the digital information society in the new era.On the basis of comprehensive research,this paper discusses the needs and characteristics of the elderly and the application of smart phones,and puts forward suggestions that pay attention to the ability of the elderly themselves and the ease of use of smart phones,provide digital education from simple to complex,from shallow to deep,and promote the integration of the elderly into the development of digital information society through strategic management of social organizations and governments.Through empirical research,it is concluded that in the future development of digital information society,the elderly will rely more on smart phones,so how to promote the integration of the elderly into the digital information society will become an important topic under the digital information society.In this study,the interview method and questionnaire method were used to investigate the smartphone use and existing problems of the elderly in community X.According to the survey results,under the guidance of social learning theory,three targeted group activities were used to provide guidance and help to group members,so as to achieve the purpose of improving the ability of the elderly to use smart phones,expand the scope of communication,build a social support network,and improve the adaptability of the digital information society.Through the intervention of group work,the elderly can basically grasp the content they have learned and can apply it in real life,which facilitates the life of the elderly to a certain extent and improves the adaptability of the elderly in the digital information society.I made more like-minded friends and built a social support network.Overall,group social work interventions have been effective.……...
