Research On Social Adaptation Intervention Of The Elderly In Urban Community Under The Background Of Digitization ——Taking X Community Of C City As An Example

In the 21 st century,digital technology has developed rapidly in China,resulting in changes in social relations,social resources and social structure;At the same time,with the acceleration of urbanization,the atomization of society is becoming more and more serious.Both of them lead to the problem of poor social adaptation of the elderly in urban communities.The accelerated development of aging makes it urgent to solve this problem.In the process of social adaptation,the elderly in urban communities generally have the needs of weak social support,difficult social role adaptation,difficult psychological adaptation and weak adaptation.However,some elderly people’s original cognition and behavior patterns of the society have been impacted,resulting in their maladjustment to the digital society.Social workers describe and analyze the current situation of poor social adaptation of the elderly in community x from the four aspects of social support,psychological adaptation,role adaptation and social adaptation ability.Under the guidance of empowerment theory,it is determined that the elderly in community X have the needs of distinguishing network information,strengthening self-awareness and enriching cultural life at the personal level;At the interpersonal level,there is a weak demand for social support network and a lack of interpersonal skills;Lack of awareness and ability to participate in public affairs at the level of social participation.Social workers,guided by the theory of empowerment based on the needs of service objects,take digital technology as a way to solve the social maladjustment of the elderly in urban communities after retirement.At the personal level,team members can enhance their ability to distinguish information,improve their information literacy and enhance their understanding of digital technology.Enhance group members’ ability to participate in network,enrich spiritual and cultural life through knowledge input,and enhance self-identity through knowledge output.At the interpersonal level,the existing social support network can be consolidated through digital technology.Build a new social support network by exploring your team members’ own resources.In the whole group process,continuously promote the awareness and ability of group members to solve problems together.At the level of social participation,problems were externalized by discussing the causes of problems with team members,enhancing the awareness of participating in social public affairs,and changing the environment causing problems.At the same time,residents are encouraged to form self-governing organizations to solve problems together through groups.The results show that intervention through group work has some effect.Firstly,the information discrimination ability of group members was improved on the personal level.Individual group members improved their sense of self-identity;Meet the needs of team members to enrich their spiritual life.Secondly,on the interpersonal level,the social support network among team members has been initially established.The frequency and scope of communication between group members and relatives and friends were enhanced;At present,no new social support network has been established due to hobbies;Whether the social support network can provide long-term support for group members needs to be followed up by social workers.Finally,in terms of social participation,the awareness and ability of social participation of group members did not change significantly.
