In 2021,the "double reduction" policy clearly states that in the aspect of "school education,teaching quality and service level should be improved".The 2022 edition of compulsory education mathematics curriculum standard has made a clear and specific expression of the core quality of students to be cultivated in mathematics curriculum and the unit teaching design based on the core quality.In order to meet the requirements of cultivating students’ mathematics core literacy and improving class quality,it is necessary to put on the agenda the unit teaching design based on mathematics core literacy.Therefore,taking the polygon area as an example,the research process and conclusion are as follows:Firstly,the literature research method was used to sort out the origins,connotations and current status of research on core literacy and unit teaching design in primary school mathematics,to explore possible paths for implementing unit teaching design based on core literacy in primary school mathematics,and to identify the systems theory and ADDIE model as the theoretical basis for research on unit teaching design based on core literacy in primary school mathematics.Secondly,the survey method is used to investigate and analyse the current situation of teaching the polygon area unit.At present,there are still four problems : students have difficulties in understanding abstract concepts,students have difficulties in solving practical problems,students’ level of development is insufficient,and the overall understanding of the unit is insufficient,the reasons for which are the lack of opportunities for students to investigate in teaching,the lack of connection with practical,the lack of core literacy training in mathematics,and the lack of unit teaching design.Again,based on the current state of teaching combined with the ADDIE model,the steps of unit teaching design on the polygon area based on core literacy in primary school mathematics are proposed according to the five parts of analysis,design,development,implementation and evaluation.These are,Analysis: analysing the relevant elements and dissecting the unit situation;Design: designing an integrated unit based on core literacy;Development: developing unit resources based on literacy development;Practice:implementing teaching practices and permeating literacy development;Evaluation:conducting multiple evaluations and reflecting on the revised design.Based on the steps and the content of the unit,a case study on the teaching design of a unit on the polygon area based on the core literacy of primary school mathematics was completed.Finally,a practical validation was conducted to explore the implementability and effectiveness of the proposed steps.Based on the results,the proposed steps were found to be implementable and able to improve the efficiency of teaching and promote the development of students’ core mathematical literacy.To make the study more generalisable,suggestions for optimising the design of teaching units based on core literacy in primary school mathematics were made on the basis of the implementation. |
