The goal of the new round of curriculum reform in China is to develop students 'core literacy,promoting students 'lifelong development,and achieve the essential requirements of sustainable social development.Mathematics has a direct effect on the development of students' mathematical thinking,logical abilities,and thinking methods.It is intrinsically connected.Therefore,in the course of learning mathematics courses,strengthening unit teaching is of great significance.It can not only strengthen students 'knowledge of mathematical theory,but also a key factor in cultivating students' core literacy.The unit approach to the implementation of unit teaching model based on core literacy is based on the unit pedagogical design and the broad concept of the subject as the basic framework,carrying content as the teaching content,and providing guiding ideas from deep learning theory.The ultimate goal is to develop the core literacy of students.This study selects the typical content of "polygonal area" in the subject teaching of primary school area.Firstly,the questionnaire method and interview method are used to deeply understand the students' academic situation,teaching difficulties and teachers' understanding of core literacy.The content has a deep grasp.Based on this,the analysis of the mathematical nature and teaching elements of the "Polygonal Area" unit is prepared for planning the entire teaching.The research process mainly goes through three stages.The first stage is to continuously improve and optimize the "polygonal area" unit instructional design through a variety of ways under the guidance of core literacy theory.The second stage of practice is to carry out class teaching according to the overall planning of the unit instructional design.Activities,and observe and record the teaching process;after the third stage of practical teaching activities,unit tests and teacher interviews were conducted to check the results achieved,and it was found that the unit teaching design under the guidance of core literacy can be implemented in elementary school geometry teaching,And the implementation effect is good,teachers' teaching efficiency has improved,and students' learning interest has improved;core literacy: students can explore mathematical problem situations and improve their application consciousness.However their problem-solving ability needs to be improved;students' spatial concepts,The reasoning ability,calculation ability of large numbers,and model thinking still need to be strengthened.There are breakthroughs in important and difficult issues in teaching.Finally,based on the cultivation of core literacy,several suggestions are made for the teaching of primary school area.At the teacher level,to strengthen teachers' deep understanding and grasp of the concepts related to core literacy in mathematics;to clarify the content of the analysis of teaching elements;Evaluation of student core literacy;Developing team-working skill;and problem-solving skill.At the school level,create a core literacy learning atmosphere;give play to the role of the school's subject teaching and research base to promote the professional growth of teachers;focus on student learning and systematically reform the teaching reform.
