| With the development of society,mathematics has been widely used in many fields.The application of mathematics has long penetrated into all walks of life in society.Human society is also enjoying the great convenience brought by the application of mathematics.Mathematics plays an important role in the strength of the country,the revitalization of the nation,and the happiness of the people,and cultivating the awareness of mathematical applications is of great significance for social development.In the 2017 new version of the General High School Mathematics Curriculum Standards also stressed the connection between math and our life,the mathematical application awareness has become a trend of today’s mathematics education reform.Now that we are in the opening moment of the new round of college entrance examination reform,how to seize this opportunity to effectively cultivate students’ mathematical application consciousness is a research topic of great practical significance.In this paper,by reviewing a large amount of literature on mathematics application awareness at home and abroad to understand the current situation of mathematics application teaching research,combined with Freudenthal’s mathematical reality principles,problem-driven teaching methods and constructivist learning transfer theory and other theoretical foundations,the investigation and research of this article are carried out.The author conducted a questionnaire survey on students in the teaching school in four dimensions to fully understand student’s attitudes toward mathematical applications,students’ views on the importance of teachers and textbooks in mathematical applications,high school students’ awareness of mathematical applications,and high school students’ level of mathematical applications.An interview survey was also conducted with high school mathematics teachers to find out how teachers teach awareness of mathematics applications and the difficulties they encounter in developing high school students’ awareness of mathematics applications in their teaching.The survey results show that current high school students are extremely lack of awareness of mathematical applications.Since they are not yet completely free from the influence of exam-oriented education,teachers and students do not give enough attention to mathematics application in the actual teaching process,and the teaching strategies to cultivate the awareness of mathematics application are not yet mature,resulting in students not knowing that mathematics is available,not daring to use mathematics,not willing to use mathematics,and not god at using mathematics in their lives.The reasons for the lack of awareness of high school students’ mathematics application can be attributed to three aspects:teacher factors,student factors,and teaching content factors.Among them,the most critical factor is the teacher factor.According to the research results,the author puts forward corresponding solutions to the main factors that affect the development of high school students’ mathematics application consciousness: change teaching concepts and improve teacher quality;strengthen mathematics language and enhance reading ability;make good use of textbook examples to guide learning to apply;create The application environment helps the development of awareness.Finally,based on the teaching strategy,the author made a teaching design for a section of the new textbook about the application of mathematics,and verified the positive role of the teaching strategy in cultivating high school students’ mathematics application through actual teaching practice.Developing students’ awareness of mathematical applications in high school is a creative educational activity that requires the joint efforts of schools,teachers and students.It is hoped that through the research of this project,teachers and students will pay attention to the application of mathematics,so that teachers can inspire students’ awareness of mathematical application step by step,and students can change their mindset in time to make good use of mathematics to create great value. |
