The question searching APP is a kind of after-school tutoring APP with mobile phone photo search as the core function.With the popularity of the internet and mobile phones,the quickness of taking pictures to get answers immediately has also caused many students to rely on them,affecting their learning in school.This research focuses on the current situation and relationship between the use of question-searching APP and mathematics learning engagement among junior high school students,and mainly includes the following issues: 1)The current situation of the use of question-searching APP in the process of junior high school students’ mathematics learning;2)The current situation of junior high school students’ mathematics learning engagement,different achievement levels,gender 3)The impact of the use of question-searching APP on junior high school students’ investment in mathematics learning.The research mainly used questionnaire survey and interview methods.The questionnaire includes two parts: the mathematics learning investment questionnaire for junior high school students and the question-searching APP use questionnaire.The research samples were selected from a junior high school in Shandong Province.560 questionnaires were distributed,523 valid questionnaires were collected for mathematics learning investment,and 466 valid questionnaires were used by the question search APP.SPSS 26.0 APP was used to process and analyze the data as follows: descriptive statistics,independent sample t test,one-way analysis of variance,correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis.The following conclusions are drawn from the survey results.1)The vast majority of junior high school students use question search APP in the process of mathematics learning,and use it more frequently.Functions other than "Photo Search Questions" are used less,and family support is low.2)When junior high school students use the question search APP,they tend to choose short-term strategies to meet the current mathematics learning needs,and use long-term strategies less.In the use of long-term strategies,girls are better than boys,junior three students are better than other grades,and students who are excellent are better than those who are underachievers.3)The overall investment in mathematics learning of junior high school students is at an upper-middle level,and the behavioral investment is relatively low.The four components of metacognitive strategy,deep comprehension strategy,value and focus were significantly positively correlated with other components.4)Girls’ behavioral investment and cognitive investment are significantly higher than boys’.The investment in mathematics learning and three-dimensionality of junior three students is significantly higher than that of other students,and the behavioral investment of junior two students is significantly lower than that of other students.The mathematics learning input of the backward students is significantly lower than that of other students,and the middle students are significantly lower than the outstanding students in the components of concentration,persistence,metacognitive strategies and interest.5)The use strategy and family support of the search APP can significantly and positively predict the mathematics learning investment of junior high school students,and the long-term strategy has the most obvious impact.The frequency of use of search APP was significantly negatively correlated with mathematics learning engagement and three-dimensional score.From the theoretical point of view,the above conclusions enrich the research objects and measurement tools of learning engagement.Through empirical analysis of the impact of the use of search APP,it provides a new perspective for the research of search APP,and also expands the research on the impact of learning engagement.In terms of practice,it provides targeted suggestions for students and parents to correctly understand the problem-searching APP and scientific use of APP,provides a basis for teachers to design teaching and homework based on their learning conditions,and guides the design and development of APP functions.
