| After the introduction of pragmatics into Chinese teaching in primary and secondary schools,Chinese educators have found that pragmatics has a broad application prospect in Chinese teaching.Grice’s Cooperative Principle and Leech’s Politeness Principle are often used in text interpretation because they can guide the speaker to deduce conversational implicature by analyzing speech activities.However,most of the current articles are fragmentary interpretation,lack of holistic thinking,unable to design a complete teaching case,and unable to organize classroom teaching.With the continuous progress of Chinese education reform,Chinese teaching in middle schools pays more and more attention to cultivating students’ ability to use language in specific language situations and real speech practice.The conversational principle in pragmatics is not only the criterion of verbal communication,but also an important mechanism for the study of conversational implication.Introducing it into Chinese education in middle schools is conducive to designing a situational and participatory classroom,in which students can not only interpret the text,but also gain verbal experience,and constantly improve their verbal expression ability.In this paper,based on previous studies,Grice’s "Cooperative Principle" and Suo Zhenyu’s "Tact Principle" are collectively called "Conversational Principle" as the theory of research,and strive to introduce the relevant theories of pragmatic conversational principles into the teaching of literary texts,so as to provide a new direction for text interpretation,a new perspective for classroom teaching,and a new reference for teachers’ classroom activity standards.In many literary texts,narrative literature has a strong story,more character conversations,and a large space for semantic exploration,so the corpus of this paper is determined to be narrative literary texts,the main genres are fiction,narrative poetry,drama and narrative prose.This paper first introduces "Cooperative Principle","Tact Principle" and their sub-maxims,and then takes life examples and narrative literary texts as the research objects to practice the theory of deducing conversational implicature by using conversational principles,and summarizes four situations of violating conversational principles,laying the foundation for the study.Then it studies the text interpretation of narrative literary texts based on the theory of conversational principles,mainly focusing on the analysis of ways and the derivation of conversational implicature.The approach analysis part starts from six parts: words,sentence patterns,figures of speech,punctuation,context and the right to speak,and introduces in detail the language phenomena that abide by or violate the conversational principles in narrative literature,among which the study of the right to speak is the innovation of this paper.In the part of conversational implicature deduction,the author introduces the role of "conversation" in narrative literature,focusing on the two major research objects of character conversation and narrative language,and summarizes the two important operational steps of "reduction" and "comparison".The above chapters are theoretical research,practical for teachers to prepare lessons,and the practical research of the article is in the last two chapters.Practical research is a study of classroom design and teacher conversation based on conversational principles.In the part of teaching design,taking "Military Vehicle Travel" as an example,it clearly shows the process from theory to practice from four aspects: the feasibility analysis of the text,the interpretation of the text,the choice of teaching methods and contents,and the teaching process.The teaching process of "Military Vehicle Travel" presented in the study is a complete classroom design,which has been tested in the actual classroom,and the effect is good,which can provide reference for middle school teaching.The last chapter is the exploration of other values of conversational principle theory in the classroom teaching of narrative literature.Firstly,it introduces three kinds of teaching incisions by taking the articles in the textbook as examples.Secondly,according to the relevant theories of conversational principles,this paper puts forward corresponding suggestions for the current Chinese teachers’ classroom questioning and comments. |
