In the Compulsory Education Mathematics Curriculum Standards(2017Edition),six core mathematical qualities were proposed for the first time.The Mathematics Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2022 Edition)once again puts forward nine core mathematical qualities including "abstract ability,computing ability,geometric intuition,spatial concept,reasoning ability,data concept,model concept,application awareness and innovation awareness",emphasizes mathematical practice activities,encourages students to conduct independent inquiry,and in 2021,the General Office of the State Council issued the opinions on double reduction policy for the first time.Under the policy of double reduction,cultivating students’ mathematical ability in mathematics classroom has become the focus.On the other hand,origami discipline has been developing continuously in recent years.Many domestic and foreign teaching researchers and front-line in-service teachers have constantly introduced origami teaching into the classroom for research,but there are few studies that link origami practice activities with the cultivation of core literacy in junior high schools.Based on the above background,this paper studies the following issues:(1)The Feasibility and Necessity of Origami Teaching under the Reform of the New Curriculum Standard to Cultivate Students’ Mathematical Core Literacy(2)A survey of the current situation of teachers and students on origami practice activities and the cultivation of origami ability(3)The teaching strategy of origami activities better entering the classroom based on the background of junior high school mathematics core literacyIn order to solve the above problems,the author explores the feasibility of origami teaching activities in the classroom from three aspects: enhancing students’ interest in mathematics learning,enhancing students’ classroom participation and interaction,and helping students accumulate life experience under the background of cultivating students’ core literacy in the new curriculum reform.It also discusses the necessity of origami teaching activities in junior high school classroom from the perspective of geometric intuition,spatial concept and reasoning consciousness.The author compiled a questionnaire to investigate and analyze the current situation of origami teaching in classroom,students’ mastery of origami knowledge,and students’ attitude towards origami practice,with students from two secondary schools in Anshan as the survey objects;According to different regions,teachers of different teaching ages interviewed and analyzed the attitude,understanding and basic ability of origami teaching.Through the analysis of the feasibility of the questionnaire through SPSS 22.0,from the factor analysis of the students’ questionnaire,cross analysis and the content of the teachers’ interview questionnaire,we can find out the difficulties and reasons of the school,teachers and students: the school did not set up or insisted on setting up origami practice classes due to insufficient teaching equipment or no early publicity of the course;Teachers did not introduce origami teaching activities into the classroom because of the tension of teaching content,the lack of relevant teaching ability,and the difficulty in controlling the teaching classroom;Students are very interested in origami,but they can’t apply practical experience to solving problems and give up origami teaching activities because they don’t think deeply enough about problems.In view of the above difficulties,the author gives the teaching strategy of origami activities under the guidance of core literacy from three aspects: studying the nature of graphics through origami teaching activities,understanding complex graphics through origami teaching activities,and combining origami teaching activities with other teaching methods.Based on the above strategy,the author designs teaching cases of Isosceles Triangle and Pythagorean Theorem under the guidance of cultivating students’ core literacy through origami teaching activities,For teaching purposes.Based on the above research,the following conclusions are drawn: origami teaching activities can improve learning interest,enhance classroom participation,accumulate learning experience,and play an important role in cultivating students’ geometric intuition,spatial imagination,and reasoning ability;Schools,teachers and students should respectively improve the re education and training of teachers,pay attention to differences in origami teaching activities to control the classroom,and improve the ability of knowledge transfer;Origami teaching activities can be used to explore the nature and understand complex graphics,but in teaching should also be combined with other teaching methods.
