As a language,a language of expression and communication,mathematics cannot be learned without reading.People acquire information and knowledge through mathematical reading,understand the world from a mathematical perspective,develop mathematical thinking,and learn to express the real world in mathematical language.And mathematics literacy is the basic literacy that every citizen should have in modern society.Through the study of mathematics courses,we can form and develop the core qualities required for future oriented social and personal development.The new curriculum standard of mathematics also points out that compulsory education mathematics curriculum should enable students to form and develop the core literacy required for future social and personal development through mathematics learning.Mathematics reading is a necessary way to learn mathematics.With mathematics reading ability,students’ autonomous learning ability will also be improved and developed.Students can constantly acquire new mathematical knowledge in the sea of mathematical books,find the fun of learning mathematics,and obtain sustainable development in mathematical learning.However,a large number of educational and teaching practices show that in primary school mathematics teaching,there is a widespread phenomenon that teachers do not attach importance to mathematics reading teaching,and students are unwilling to carry out mathematics reading.Their reading ability is relatively low.In the exam,students will encounter the internal relationship or relationship between mathematical information that they cannot read,cannot read mathematical language,and cannot understand.Therefore,effective mathematics learning cannot be separated from mathematics reading teaching.In order to effectively improve students’ core mathematical literacy,we must carry out research and practice in mathematics reading teaching.It is imperative to improve pupils’ mathematics reading ability.With the continuous development of curriculum reform,more and more mathematics teachers begin to deeply realize the importance of cultivating students’ mathematical reading ability.Under the background of comprehensively improving students’ core literacy,research on mathematics reading teaching in primary schools has become a very urgent theoretical and practical task.Focusing on this problem,this paper focuses on the current situation of mathematics reading teaching and learning in the school where the author teaches,the main obstacles and causes of students’ mathematics reading,and the strategies and implementation of mathematics reading teaching.In order to complete the research in a more orderly way,the author conducted research from the following aspects: First,the author determined the main content of mathematics reading teaching,learned constructivism teaching theory,humanistic teaching theory,behaviorism teaching theory,cognitive school teaching theory,etc.,understood the significance of mathematics reading teaching,the core concepts of mathematics reading teaching,and explored the strategies and methods of mathematics reading teaching on this basis.Second,through the literature survey of domestic and foreign mathematics scholars’ research on mathematics reading and reading teaching,we analyze the current situation of mathematics reading teaching and learning.On this basis,through questionnaire survey and interview,the author analyzes the influencing factors and causes of students’ reading disorder.Third,based on the investigation and analysis conducted in the second stage,the author summarized the obstacles that students have in mathematical reading,put forward effective mathematical reading teaching strategies,and carried out mathematical reading teaching practice in teaching schools.Fourthly,the teaching effect is analyzed based on the classroom performance,interview records and final test scores of the students in the teaching class.It preliminarily verified the correctness of the research direction and the effectiveness of the mathematics reading teaching strategies studied,and formed the mathematics reading teaching methods and teaching strategies suitable for the teaching school students.In this process,it has improved its teaching research ability and teaching level. |
