Research On Social Work Intervention In The Construction Of Ecological Civilization In Ethnic Villages From The Perspective Of Community-based

As an important ecological functional area in China,the frontier ethnic areas are not only rich in natural resources,but also fragile in ecological environment.Faced with the weakening of the bearing capacity of the ecosystem of ethnic villages for economic and social development,and the difficult balance between economic development and ecological civilization construction,it is necessary to strengthen the participation of "multi-parties" in the ecological civilization construction of ethnic villages.This paper explores the methods and strategies of social work involved in the ecological civilization construction of ethnic villages through the practical research of the "Comprehensive Improvement Project of Rural Environment" of M social work organization in MG Bulang Village,Xishuangbanna,Yunnan Province,and finds that the values and practices of social work can effectively solve the problems of ecological civilization construction.Theoretically,the theory of "community-oriented" and the related theories of ecological civilization construction from the perspective of sociology can be the theoretical basis for social work to intervene in the ecological civilization construction of minority villages.Combining the practice of institutions,the professional characteristics of social work and the current goal of ecological civilization construction in our country,the inevitability of social work’s involvement in ecological civilization construction is mainly reflected in the inevitable trend of multi-subjects participating in ecological civilization construction.Rural ecological revitalization in ethnic areas is an important part of rural revitalization,and the sustainable development of ethnic villages is closely related to the development level and quality of ethnic areas.Based on the people-oriented values,the community-oriented perspective and the practical methods of integrating social work,this paper discusses the feasibility of social work intervening in the construction of ecological civilization in ethnic villages.In the practice of M organization’s intervention in the ecological civilization construction of MG village,besides observing the intervention principle of general social work,it also takes the village national culture as the foundation,the village capital excavation as the starting point,the participation of multiple subjects as the foundation and the integration of social work as the important practical principles.According to these principles,the purpose of institutional intervention is to set the policy of ecological civilization and the study of Bulang people’s ecological culture,improve the village environment and strengthen the capacity building of organizations and collaborators.In order to achieve these goals,the organization adopted four important strategies in the implementation of the project: arousing awareness,improving ability,changing livelihood style and reconstructing lifestyle.In the concrete practice,through the start-up stage,running-in stage,growth stage,consolidation stage and ending stage,from four aspects:cultural self-confidence,solving ecological environment needs and problems,improving collaborators’ and self-organization ability,developing ecological industry and green agriculture,the villagers were led to carry out the ecological civilization construction of the village,so as to achieve the goal of building an ecological home.The evaluation of the project includes process evaluation and result evaluation.According to the evaluation results,it shows that: the villagers have learned the policy of ecological civilization,and the study of their own ecological culture has also been strengthened;Through various practical activities,the community environment has been comprehensively improved;The community has been further strengthened,and the ability of collaborators has been further improved.Through the research,the author thinks that social work has great potential to participate in the construction of ecological civilization in ethnic villages,and the practice of M institution has important reference significance.From the perspective of reflection,there are still some problems in the practice carried out by M organization,such as too many project objectives,weakening the implementation effect,lack of microscopic perspectives and methods,and insufficient quantification of evaluation.This also reveals that social work should strengthen the combination of long-term objectives and short-term objectives,pay attention to the development of vulnerable individuals in villages,and adopt quantitative methods in project evaluation to increase the accuracy and scientificity of data.
