China University Of Ecological Civilization Concept Of Education And Its Philosophical Reflection

Since the 1960s, the growing global ecological crisis makes mankind into an unprecedented predicament. What's more, it threats human survival and development seriously. How to get rid of the ecological crisis which brought about by industrial civilization has become a reality issue which cannot be avoided in today's society. The ecological civilization is a modern civilization which grew and developed on the basis of the industrial civilization, it is a new form of human civilization which people chose after reflecting on the contemporary environmental crisis. However, the evolution of civilization and development can't be separated with education. The rise of the concept of ecological civilization contains the deepest needs of educational reform.This article viewed on the ecological civilization and on the basis of research results from home and abroad. Firstly, expounded the necessity, the main contents and significance of ecological civilization education in Chinese Colleges and Universities. Based on this theory, we make a questionnaire survey for nearly three hundred students in college in Shanxi Province. The result shows that there are still some gaps for college students in the attainment of ecological civilization. Mainly shows that environmental awareness is weak, the awareness of ecological responsibility is weak and ecological conservation action lags behind. After a thorough analysis of the survey results, the paper pointed out that the prevalence of utilitarian view of education, the unreasonable teaching content design, the disconnection between theory and practice of education are the main reasons for lacking of ecological civilization of education. And as for the present condition, making a proposal of strengthening the effectiveness principles and selection of ecological civilization education: First, the education concept of ecological civilization period must be updated, beyond the educational goals "tool man" "rational man" in the period of industrial civilization. From survival point of view, fostering "ecological people" for educational purposes; colleges and universities should accelerate the construction curriculum system of ecological civilization, and create sound educational mechanism of ecological civilization from the innovative self-education, innovative teaching structure, new educational model; organize students learn the ecological laws and regulations carefully, improve the students awareness of ecological protection fundamentally; Sense of responsibility is the spirit backing of training college students'ecological civilization, the key of strengthening students'concept of ecological civilization education is to cultivate the concept of ecological civilization ethics and responsibility ; Practice is the sole criterion for testing truth, so only make students accepted ecological civilization in practice, raise awareness of ecological protection, can play better effectiveness.Finally, as the starting point of the philosophical view, make a point of college ecological civilization education must go beyond the subject-object dichotomy bound so that eliminate the traditional philosophy of one-sided emphasis on the subject, pursuit the harmony and common prosperity of man and nature, the concept of ecological civilization education is an open system, requiring an open concept with it , conducting in an open field environment; ecological civilization education is inseparable from practice, only built up on the basis of the concept of ecological civilization can it internalized into inherent quality and spirit of the individual pursuit perfectly.
