With the further development of my country’s economy and science and technology,the current business situation of my country’s coal mining enterprises is severe and complicated.With the promotion of relevant reforms,the working methods and contents of coal miners have also undergone great changes.This is for middle-aged underground miners who have worked in coal mines for many years It’s also a big test.At the same time,the special underground working environment,the low level of education of miners,extensive enterprise management and high-intensity labor load lead to long-term monotonous operations in the harsh environment for underground miners,which are prone to psychological stress and burnout.Emotions,such as physical and mental exhaustion,decreased motivation at work,and strained relationships with colleagues and family members.Especially for the middle-aged underground miners,the work pressure and burnout accumulated over the years have been neglected,which seriously affects their work and living conditions.Therefore,the problem of alleviating the job burnout of middle-aged underground miners is imminent.The main purpose of this study is to study the current situation and causes of job burnout among middle-aged underground miners from the perspective of social work,to alleviate their job burnout problem by carrying out group work practice,and to put forward countermeasures and suggestions to better to help them relieve fatigue and burnout,while improving their ability to reduce stress,they also provide support and assistance to middle-aged underground miners at the family,enterprise and social levels,in order to promote the common development of enterprises and underground miners.This article is divided into eight parts,including five chapters including the introduction,references,appendices and acknowledgments.The first chapter,the introduction,mainly includes the research background and significance of the selected topic,summarizes the relevant research results according to the literature,and lists the research methods and research ideas adopted in this paper.Chapter two,concept definition and theoretical basis.Concepts such as underground miners and job burnout are expounded,and the theoretical basis used in the study is introduced.The third chapter analyzes the current situation of job burnout among middle-aged underground miners in Y Coal Mine in Shanxi Province.Taking some middle-aged underground miners in this coal mine as the research object,we conducted a survey by distributing questionnaires and interviews,and analyzed the questionnaires and results.The manifestations and causes of burnout problems.Chapter 4,this research uses the group work method to intervene,forms a supportive group through the recruitment of group members,and organizes relevant group activities to help them relieve job burnout,improve their mental health and work enthusiasm,and evaluate group work.Chapter five,summary and recommendations.According to the conclusions drawn from this research,reflect on the insufficiency of group work involved in the job burnout problem of middle-aged underground miners in Y Coal Mine,and finally put forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions from the four levels of individual,family,enterprise and society,in order to hope that from multiple perspectives angle to help them alleviate the problem of burnout and ensure their better work and life.
