| With the improvement of living standards,the elderly pay more and more attention to the quality of spiritual and cultural life,spiritual and cultural life satisfaction has an important impact on the happiness of the elderly in their later life.Among the different pension modes,home pension mode has its unique advantages.But the current home care service can not well meet the spiritual and cultural needs of the elderly.Based on the spiritual and cultural needs of H community in Luoyang city,this study studied the practice of group work to meet the spiritual and cultural needs of H community elderly people receiving home care services.Firstly,the spiritual and cultural needs of 100home-based elderly in H community were measured by stratified sampling using the spiritual and cultural needs assessment scale.Through the statistical analysis of 90 valid data,it is found that the elderly in H community have a low satisfaction degree of spiritual and cultural needs.Secondly,interviews were conducted with 20 elderly people who participated in the survey,combined with a questionnaire on spiritual and cultural needs,so as to further understand the reasons for the low degree of demand satisfaction and evaluate their specific spiritual and cultural needs.Thirdly,10 elderly people with low satisfaction degree of spiritual and cultural needs and similar satisfaction status were selected to participate in group activities voluntarily.Under the guidance of Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs theory and social support theory,seven group intervention activities were carried out,and then qualitative and quantitative methods were combined to evaluate.Finally,summarize and reflect on this research,and put forward specific suggestions.The study found that there were significant positive changes in the data before and after the intervention,and the data differences reached a significant level(P <0.05).Therefore,it can be known that the practical research of using group work method to meet the spiritual and cultural needs of the elderly in home care is feasible and effective. |
