Problems And Countermeasures Of Patriotic Education In Colleges And Universities In The New Era

Patriotism,as the core of the Chinese national spirit,is a great source of power for a long time,and plays a crucial role as the guidance of the people and the development and stability of the country.The characteristics of patriotism determine that its connotation will be enriched with the change of the times.The new era refers to the period of vigorous development of various undertakings in China.With the entering of new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics,patriotism has been given new connotation,showing some new characteristics of the times,and the development of our country also puts forward new requirements for patriotism education.As the main position of patriotism education,colleges and universities are responsible for the cultivation of socialist successors who undertake the responsibility of national rejuvenation.Therefore,it is imperative to clarify the connotation and characteristics of patriotism education in the new era,and to study the existing problems and Countermeasures of patriotism education in Colleges and universities.This paper analyzes the patriotic education in Colleges and universities in the new era in three aspects.First of all,this paper starts with the connotation of patriotism and analyzes its changes in the new era.The patriotism education in the new era has the distinctive characteristics,including the unity of love for the party,the unity of patriotism and socialism,the realization of the Chinese dream of great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation and the development direction of facing the world based on China.Secondly,it clarifies the new requirements of patriotism education in Colleges and Universities under the background of new era.It includes the new theme,content,method and object of patriotism education.At present,although the development of patriotism education in Colleges and universities has made some achievements,it still needs to be improved.Based on the relevant statistical data and the research of scholars’ papers,this paper finds that the current curriculum construction of patriotic education,the construction of educational resources lacks the times,diversity and pertinence,and there is no overall arrangement among the departments of colleges and universities,and the college students themselves lack of enthusiasm.The reasons behind it a re mainly the bad influence of social environment,the neglect of recessive education in Colleges and universities,the inadequate design and application of educational resources and the lack of consciousness of College Students’ own responsibility.Therefore,in the face of the current situation,we need to improve from the following aspects.For colleges and universities,we should play the role of colleges and universities as the main position of patriotism education,and try to enrich the resources of patriotism education.For college students,they should stimulate their subjective initiative,encourage their active cognition,rational learning and self-conscious practice.From the perspective of educational environment,it is mainly based on campus,family,society and network,so as to create a good all-round patriotic education environment.
