Research On Patriotism Education Of College Students In The New Era

Patriotism is the fine tradition of the Chinese nation,the spiritual pillar of the Chinese nation’s unremitting struggle,pioneering and innovation,and the source of strength that inspires the Chinese people to unite,struggle and live forever.Since the eighteen Party Congress,General Secretary Xi Jinping has attached great importance to youth patriotism education.At the 54 sports100 th anniversary conference in 2019,General Secretary Xi Jinping stressed that loving the motherland is the foundation of success and the foundation of success.As the main force of national construction and development,college students shoulder the important task of realizing national prosperity and national rejuvenation.The issuance of the outline for the implementation of patriotism education in the new era in November 2019 pointed out the direction for the patriotism education of college students in the new era.In this context,patriotism education for college students is also an important topic for the development of the times.Through the questionnaire survey,this paper understands that the patriotic education of college students in the new era has achieved certain results.However,they are also faced with the practical problems that the enthusiasm of college students needs to be improved,the methods of patriotism education are not flexible enough,the carriers of patriotism education are not rich enough,and the resources of patriotism education are not developed enough.These problems are weakened by economic globalization,college students’ National identity,pluralistic social trends,and college students’ national self-confidence The negative information of network media shakes the value of college students,the insufficient construction of teachers,and the imperfect patriotism education mechanism affect the effect of patriotism education.In view of the above problems and causes,combined with the survey data,this paper puts forward the corresponding countermeasures from four aspects: the method,carrier,environment and mechanism of patriotism education.First,enrich the methods of patriotism education in the new era;The second is to comprehensively use the carrier of College Students’ patriotism education;Third,optimize the environment of patriotism education for college students in the new era;Fourth,form a long-term mechanism for patriotism education.At present,the party and the state attach great importance to the ideological and political education of college students.Patriotism education,as an important content,can fiercely transform college students’ patriotism into the ambition of strengthening the country and serving the country,and better cultivate new people who are worthy of the great task of national rejuvenation.
