Under the background of the rapid increase in the number of interdisciplinary academic masters,the country and universities are facing severe challenges.How to improve the scientific research level and learning ability of this group in an innovative and efficient way is an urgent problem to be solved.For interdisciplinary academic masters,the requirements of academic paper publishing and dissertation quality are gradually improving,and the training quality of this group has attracted much attention.This study takes interdisciplinary academic masters as the research object,based on literature review and related theories,constructs a theoretical model of the relationship between supervisor supervision and interdisciplinary academic masters’ scientific research engagement,empirically tests the theoretical model with questionnaire data,and explores the interaction among supervisor supervision,scientific research engagement,scientific research pressure and scientific research anxiety.The results show that: Supervisor supervision includes supportive supervision and controlled supervision,which have significant positive effects on research pressure,research anxiety and research engagement;research pressure and research anxiety are significantly correlated with research engagement,and research pressure and research anxiety are positively correlated with research engagement Part of the mediating effect of supportive supervision on research engagement is realized through research pressure and research anxiety;part of the mediating effect of supportive supervision on research engagement is realized through research pressure and research anxiety;part of the mediating effect of controlling supervision on research engagement is realized through research pressure and research anxiety.Through one-way ANOVA,it is found that there are significant differences in gender,grade,interdisciplinary category,supervisor level and department requirements;Through multi-group analysis,it is found that the influence of supervisor supervision,research pressure and research anxiety on research engagement is different in different personal background and research organization groups.According to the empirical research results,the following research suggestions are put forward.Supervisor’s level: Supervisors should teach students in accordance with their aptitude,correctly guide the pressure,and improve the scientific research investment level of interdisciplinary academic masters from academic,interpersonal,and independent aspects;Student’s level: Students should adjust their mentality and negative emotions,adapt to different supervision methods of supervisors,strengthen the communication and communication with supervisors,and improve the scientific research investment level;School’s level: Schools should formulate policies in line with the school situation In addition,schools should strengthen humanistic care and psychological guidance.
