| In the recent years,it has become the focus of the social attention about the growth situation of the juveniles of prisoners and the problems caused by them.Compared with the general juveniles,the juveniles of prisoners are more likely to have problems in social integration,behavior deviation and mental health due to the impact of their broken family structure,collapse of their economic pillar,lack of family education,lack of parental supervision etc,and some even go on the road of breaking the law and committing crimes.During the internship,the author has paid special attention to and kept contact with this special group.After systematic investigation and analysis,it is found that this group has a particularly prominent psychological contradiction in dealing with interpersonal relationships,showing obvious prudence and inferiority.Based on this situation,the author,as a social worker,has provided professional services for the juveniles of prisoners and carried out applied research by using professional social work methods and skills.The content of this study is to intervene the interpersonal problems of the juveniles of prisoners by using the social team working methods.6 juveniles of prisoners with interpersonal problems are selected by the researcher as the service objects from the precision rescue project for the children in distress in Institution S.Through the methods of questionnaire,scale measurement,in-depth interview etc,their interpersonal communication status,interpersonal problems and interpersonal communication needs of the six juveniles of prisoners have been analyzed and a specific organizational implementation plan has been formulated.In practice,combined with Cognition and Behavior Theory,Looking Glass Self Theory and Strengths Perspective Theory,activity interventions for members have been implemented to the team members for seven times.Through the first two activities,dis-labeled operation has been done to the members twice in order to establish their correct cognition.In the third activity,based on their advantages,the author helped them to build self-confidence.In the fourth and fifth activities,the author taught them interpersonal skills,improved their expression ability,and consolidated their knowledge acquisition in the last two activities.After the practice of the social team work,these six juveniles’ problems in interpersonal relations have been improved significantly.They have established a correct understanding about the relationship between other people and themselves gradually,mastered interpersonal skills,and improved their self-confidence in dealing with interpersonal relationship.Based on the Cognition and Behavior Theory,Looking Glass Self Theory and Strengths Perspective Theory,the team work is practical in the intervention of the children in distress.The combination of theory and practice has played a significant role in improving the interpersonal relationship of the juveniles of prisoners,and has reached the value of the social workers’ concept of "Help People to Help Themselves ". |
