| The interdisciplinary STEAM project integrates science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics, and cultivates a comprehensive quality of compound innovative talents that can be suitable for future scientific and technological development.STEAM education is sweeping the world, and STEAM education in China is gradually extending from primary and secondary schools to kindergartens. So,What STEAM project activities are suitable for children? what evidence can be used to prove the suitability of STEAM project activities for young children? What is the appropriate teachers to participate in STEAM project activities? How to evaluate the quality of STEAM project activities? This study focuses on these issues and makes some responses from the perspective of developmentlly appropriate practice. This research chooses H kindergarten as the research base, and adopts the methodology of evidence-based research to study the development suitability of STEAM project activities development and implementation of 5-6-year-old children through literature, observation, interview and other methods.First of all, based on the relevant literature of STEAM project activities, development suitability practice and evidence-based research, the thesis builds a theoretical model for the development suitability of STEAM project activities for children aged 5-6 years old.The theoretical modeling mainly includes the evidence, operation process and key indicators of the development suitability of the STEAM project, and provides scientific analysis methods, basic steps of practice and key evaluation indicators for the evidence collected for the development suitability of the evidence-based STEAM project.Secondly,This study carries out evidence-based practice on the development suitability of STEAM project activities for 5-6-year-old children, mainly taking robot STEAM project activities as an example.According to the three steps of evidence-based practice: asking questions 、 searching and screening evidence 、practice application and effect evaluation”,This study conducts practice evidence-based on the STEAM project theme,STEAM project promotion and teacher support, and STEAM project evaluation,so as to obtain effective experience on the suitability of STEAM project development. In a word, based on the perspective of development suitability and the triangular mutual evidence model composed of policy, theory and practice,evidence-based will run through the whole practice process of the development and implementation of STEAM project activities for 5-6-year-old children, and form and improve the practical evidence model,evidence-based process and evaluation indicators for the development suitability of STEAM project activities for 5-6-year-old children,so as to provide relevant references for kindergartens to carry out STEAM project activities and promote the development of children’s STEAM comprehensive quality. |
