| Health is not only related to the survival and development of human beings,but also closely related to the happy life of individuals.With the advent of the Internet age,people’s ways of obtaining health information have also diversified,which has also led to the phenomenon of cyberchondria is on the Internet.Cognitive factors play a prominent role in the study of the role of health related behaviors,this study aims to explore the influence of unreasonable health beliefs on college students’ internet cyberchondria is and the mediating role of health anxiety.The research consists of two parts.The first part is to compile the localized college students’ irrational health belief scale,and the second part is to use the irrational health belief scale,health anxiety scale and Internet cyberchondria scale to conduct a questionnaire survey on 1256 college students.the result shows:(1)The irrational health belief scale of college students has high reliability and validity,and can be used to measure the irrational health beliefs of college students.(2)One-way analysis of variance showed that there were significant differences in grades for college students’ irrational health beliefs,health anxiety,and internet cyberchondria;independent samples t-test showed that there were gender differences in college students ’irrational health beliefs,health anxiety,and internet cyberchondria;There is a significant difference in whether there is a disease history or not,and there is a significant difference in the family with or without a disease history.Regardless of whether the person or the family has a disease history,their unreasonable health beliefs,health anxiety,and Internet cyberchondria are significantly higher than those without disease.(3)Correlation analysis shows that there is a positive correlation between college students’ irrational health beliefs,health anxiety,and Internet cyberchondria.(4)The mediating effect showed that unreasonable health beliefs had a positive predictive effect on college students’ online cyberchondria.At the same time,unreasonable health beliefs can also indirectly affect college students’ online cyberchondria through health anxiety. |
