With the development of the “Internet plus” economy and society,the Internet and the Internet of Things(Lo T)have been used in all walks of life to support the transformation and upgrading industrial sectors,thus industries and enterprises made higher and higher requests for the ability of technology application talents,that is,professional workers shall have not only the skills of traditional production but also the ability to apply information technology.What industries and enterprises need is inter-disciplinary talents.This requires that in vocational education,students must be trained to solve practical problems by fusing multi-disciplinary knowledge.In that way,the students’ innovation and entrepreneurship can be enhanced to promote students’ growth and high-quality employment.With the Graphics and Image Processing course of Computer Graphic Design Specialty of Zhongshan A Secondary Vocational School in Guangdong Province as the carrier,and the STEAM education concept as the teaching concept,discussed are the methods and paths of cultivating students’ ability to solve problems with the subject knowledge,professional ethics,professional quality,professional behavior and other comprehensive qualities and abilities by integrating fine traditional Chinese culture and professional quality elements into the subject knowledge for teaching with a view to realizing “the integration of shaping value,teaching knowledge and training ability” and implementing the pattern of all-round education.The following aspects are mainly included herein:Part I Research on theoretical basis.The theoretical basis for the research in the project is determined by sorting out and analyzing the relevant literature to clarify the meaning of relevant concepts and the direction of the project research.Part II The demand analysis of teaching reform.Find out the problems in the previous teaching practice of Graphics and Image Processing course through the investigation and analysis of the job requirements,the teaching status of Graphics and Image Processing course in secondary vocational schools,and students’ learning behaviors,etc,which define the starting point for the teaching design and implementation of the course based on the STEAM education concept.Part III The design of instructional resources and teaching activities.According to the research results of the first and second parts,the content of the course and teaching activities are designed,with online learning resources made.Part IV The validation effectiveness of the teaching reform scheme.The research results in the third part are applied to the teaching of a class of Computer Graphic Design Specialty of Zhongshan A Secondary Vocational School in Guangdong Province.A semester of teaching practice is used to validate the effectiveness of the curriculum teaching reform.The practice has proved that the guidance of the teaching of Graphics and Image Processing course in secondary vocational schools by the STEAM education concept can effectively develop students’ ability to solve practical problems with subject knowledge and improve their cultural and professional qualities,thus developing their professional and innovation abilities.However,in the process of practice,some shortcomings are also found.For example,some students do not study independently and passionately,thus affecting the quality of the study.In the next round of teaching practice,for the existing shortcomings,we will find out feasible solutions. |
