Primary school students’ sports associations are one of the important ways of school sports,especially for stimulating students’ interest in sports,mastering sports skills and enhancing students’ physical quality.Today’s some students don’t like physical education and physical exercise.Most of the reasons are that the way of physical education is single and boring.Therefore,how to attract students to physical exercise,use sports associations to improve the interest and diversity of school sports activities,and make sports associations become an important carrier for the all-round development of students’ morality,intelligence,physique and beauty is very important.This study takes the development status of primary school sports associations in Liuhe District as the research object,and some PE teachers and students in 32 primary schools in Liuhe District as the survey object.Using the methods of literature,questionnaire,interview and mathematical statistics,this paper makes a comprehensive study on the development status of primary school sports associations in Liuhe District,and draws the following conclusions:(1)Teachers and students have a high degree of cognition of sports associations.Most teachers and students realize the importance and necessity of developing sports associations.Compared with physical education,students prefer sports associations.Students have high enthusiasm to participate in sports associations.(2)Sports associations set up a variety of projects,of which football projects are fully covered.Some schools have also set up folk sports: Dragon and lion dance,diabolo and other projects,as well as emerging projects such as shooting and fencing.There is a lack of indoor sports association venues.The school has the highest requirements for the selection of sports associations,which is contrary to the purpose of sports associations.In the selection of sports associations,the head teacher did not let the students sign up according to the principle of voluntariness,and intervened the students;In addition,the re-election of sports associations in most schools is more in line with the appropriate selection frequency;Only half of the schools have guidance and suggestions on student project selection.(3)The development time of sports associations is mostly arranged during and after class.The time length of sports associations is more in 30-60 minutes,and the development frequency is 1-2 times,which can not meet the enthusiasm and sports needs of students to participate in sports associations.Most school sports associations mainly carry out large amount of exercise and general amount of exercise,and students can adapt to the amount of exercise arranged by teachers.(4)More than half of the teachers believe that the award and evaluation system of sports associations is imperfect.Most school sports associations go out to participate in competitions.Many sports associations carry out activities such as competitions,but the frequency of activities is low,mostly once every academic year or semester.Nearly half of the school space and equipment resources are lacking.Sports associations are relatively rich in teacher resources.Only a few schools have community funds.Most of the schools with community funds are school grants,and a few community funds are out competition bonuses.(5)From many aspects,the satisfaction of teachers and students is very high.Community projects are very rich,the arrangement of community teaching is relatively clear,and the guidance teachers of the community are also professional,so the teaching methods are diverse and effective.The arrangement of the time and frequency of the club needs to be considered in combination with the school situation,learning situation and other aspects.A small number of reasons for dissatisfaction,such as teaching methods and teachers’ professional quality,can be improved through in-depth learning.(6)The recognition of sports associations for teachers and students.Teachers and students believe that participating in sports associations is most effective in physical development.Psychological,social adaptability and motor development are slightly lower than physical development.
