Sports dance began in China in1984, after nearly30years of development, sports dance has reached the hierarchical world level as a whole. Now, sports dance is very popular in China, the country is also very the attention and support, of the top matches-the dark pools in sports dance dance festival, more and more Chinese player level also rises continually. And primary school sports dance, is the basis for the development of sports dance, affecting the training of sports dance, determines the development of sports dance altitude and far degrees. So this paper takes Beijing chaoyang district elementary school sports dance development present situation and the countermeasures for research object, mainly adopts the literature material method, interview method, field survey method, questionnaire survey and mathematical statistics, the current situation of the development of investigation and research, find out the relevant countermeasures, promote the development of Beijing chaoyang district elementary school sports dance, and further promote the development of sports dance in China, decrease and the gap between the abroad. Main conclusions are as follows:1. The practice of sports dance students gender imbalance, the girl is in the majority. The grade is given priority to with grade four, five, six, generally at the age of8,9start learning sports dance. Stay around for a year or two to learn, students participate in sports dance distinction and competition is less, students who participated in the distinction only accounted for33.6%.2. According to the survey, the sex ratio of the teacher is female teachers accounted for80%, male teachers accounted for20%, ranging in age from20to35years old accounted for93.3%, is young, and most of the teachers are with higher education level. But on sports dance teacher’s professional technology and academic needs to improve and improve, of which40%teachers without professional DengJiZheng,53.3%of the teachers of academic papers published in1to2.3. The ministry of education should strengthen the promotion of sports dance, increase publicity of sports dance.Suggestions:1. Encourage students to participate in sports dance distinction and more competition, broaden students’ vision, improve students’ grades.2. The school should organize sports dance teachers more regular training and examination, deepen their theoretical knowledge and practical ability, improve the quality of their class, to enhance teachers’ ability and improve student performance.3.
