With the country's attention to school physical education,the status of physical education teachers has also been promoted,so the requirements for physical education teachers are more and more high,and continuing education is an important way for teachers to improve their ability.In Liuhe district,Nanjing city sports teachers' continuing education of primary and secondary schools as the research object,using the method of documentary,expert interview,questionnaire investigation,logic analysis and investigation of Liuhe district,Nanjing city elementary and middle schools sports continue to education,the following conclusion: 1.The composition of physical education teachers in Liuhe District,Nanjing is more reasonable.2.The vast majority of pe teachers are fully aware of the importance of Continuing education and are capable of Continuing education learning.3.Physical education teachers in Liuhe District mainly participate in continuing education activities organized by the city or district during working days or within a specified time;the purpose is to gain class hours,improve teaching levels,and master new knowledge and professional skills;expenses are mainly paid by the teacher's school and continuing education Shared by the organization unit.4.Centralized training,school-based training,and online and offline training are the most commonly used training methods for physical education teachers in Liuhe District;on-site demonstration classes,expert lectures,and online video learning are the most popular learning methods.5.The main problems in the continuing education of physical education teachers in primary and middle schools in Luhe District are the conflict between continuing education and the work of teachers,school leaders do not pay much attention to it,the diversification of training forms is not enough,the training content is not novel,and the training evaluation method is unreasonable.In view of the above problems,the following suggestions are given:1.Improve the school's awareness of continuing education.2.To stipulate the number of times and duration of continuing education that physical education teachers participate in each semester.3.Adopt diversified training forms.4.Provide different continuing education content for teachers with different needs.5.Use a reasonable training evaluation mechanism.
