Today, young people in our country are facing a series of physical health problems such as decreased cardiovascular function, increased obesity and poor eyesight rates.Studies have confirmed that a daily accumulation of more than 60 minutes of moderate-to-high-intensity physical activity is the key to solving this problem. However, the survey results(2017)show that only 34.1% of adolescents achieve this activity time. How to promote youth exercise behavior has become a hot spot nowadays. The planned behavior theory proposes that exercise behavior intention is the determinant of exercise behavior, and exercise behavior intention is closely related to physical health knowledge and exercise behavior attitude. Therefore, this study intends to explore the influence of physical health knowledge and exercise behavior attitude on adolescents’ exercise behavior intention,in order to enrich previous researches and provide a theoretical basis for improving adolescents’ physical health status. In this study,609 middle school students were selected as the survey objects, ranging in age from 12 to 18,and were measured using the Physical Health Knowledge Questionnaire,Exercise Behavior Attitude Scale and Exercise Behavior Intention Scale.Descriptive statistics, independent sample T test,one-way analysis of variance, nonparametric test,Pearson correlation analysis, common method deviation test,Bootstrap mediation effect test and other statistical methods were used to explore the relationship between physical health knowledge, exercise behavior attitude and adolescent exercise behavior intention, which differ in Gender, school stage and BMI differences. And to verify whether there is a mediating effect between physical fitness knowledge and exercise behavior intention.Outcomes:(1)There were significant differences in the level of physical health knowledge and exercise behavior intention in adolescents’ different school stages(P < 0.05);there were significant differences in exercise behavior attitude and exercise behavior intention between adolescents’ different genders(P < 0.05).(2)There was a significant positive correlation between physical health knowledge and exercise behavior attitude(r = 0.414,P < 0.01);physical health knowledge and exercise behavior intention were significantly positively correlated(r= 0.401,P < 0.01);exercise behavior attitude and exercise attitude Behavioral intention was significantly positively correlated(r = 0.683,P < 0.01).(3)The mediating effect of exercise behavior attitude between physical health knowledge and exercise behavior intention was significant.Conclusion:(1)The level of physical health knowledge of high school students is higher than that of junior high school students;the level of exercise behavior intention of junior high school students is higher than that of high school students;the levels of exercise behavior attitude and exercise behavior intention of male adolescents are higher than those of female adolescents.(2)Physical health knowledge can predict the positive trend of exercise behavior attitude and exercise behavior intention,as well as exercise behavior attitude partially mediates the relationship between physical health knowledge and exercise behavior intention.
